法利賽人彼此議論說：「我們真是枉費心思！你看，整個世界都跟著祂跑了。」

法利赛人彼此说：“看哪，你们是徒劳无益，世人都随从他去了。”

于是法利赛人彼此说：“你们看，你们都是徒劳无功，世人都去跟随他了！”

于是法利赛人互相说：“可见你们真没用！看，这世界都跟随他去了。”

法利賽人彼此說：「看哪，你們是徒勞無益，世人都隨從他去了。」

法利賽人彼此說：「你們看，你們一事無成，世人都隨着他去了。」

法利賽人彼此說：「你們看，你們一事無成，世人都隨着他去了。」

於是法利賽人彼此說：“你們看，你們都是徒勞無功，世人都去跟隨他了！”

於是法利賽人就彼此說：『可見你們是無濟於事的；你看，世界都去跟着他了！』

於是法利賽人互相說：「可見你們真沒用！看，這世界都跟隨他去了。」

法利賽人相語曰、爾謀一無所濟、舉世皆從之矣、○

𠵽唎㘔人相語曰、爾曹所謀無益、豈不見舉世從之乎、○

法利塞人因相語曰：『舉世風從、吾其休矣！』

So the Pharisees said to one another,“ See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the whole world has gone after him!”

So the Pharisees said to one another,“ This isn’t getting us anywhere. Look how the whole world is following him!”

So the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see that you are gaining nothing. Look, the world has gone after him.”

Then the Pharisees said to each other,“ There’s nothing we can do. Look, everyone has gone after him!”

Then the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see? You’ve accomplished nothing. Look, the world has gone after him!”

So the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see that you are not accomplishing anything; look, the world has gone after Him!”

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves,“ You see that you are accomplishing nothing. Look, the world has gone after Him!”

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Behold how ye prevail nothing; lo, the world is gone after him.

Then the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see? You’ve accomplished nothing. Look— the world has gone after Him!”

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

Thus the Pharisees said to one another,“ You see that you can do nothing. Look, the world has run off after him!”

The Pharisees therefore said among themselves,“ See how you accomplish nothing. Behold, the world has gone after him.”

他們找不到保羅和西拉，就把耶孫和幾個弟兄拉到當地官員面前，高喊：「那些攪亂天下的人到我們這裡來了，

普世都要心繫耶和華，歸向祂，各國人民都要敬拜祂。

於是門徒來見約翰，說：「老師，你看，以前在約旦河對岸和你在一起、你為祂做見證的那位在給人施洗，眾人都去祂那裡了！」

「我們該怎樣處置這兩個人呢？整個耶路撒冷的居民都知道他們行了一個神蹟，我們無法否認。為了避免這件事傳得更廣，我們必須警告他們以後不許再對任何人傳講耶穌的事。」

祭司長和律法教師看見祂所行的奇事，又聽見小孩子在聖殿裡高聲喊著：「和散那歸於大衛的後裔！」便十分惱怒。

祭司長和法利賽人便召開公會會議，說：「這人行了這麼多神蹟，我們該怎麼辦呢？如果讓祂這樣繼續下去，所有的人都會信祂，那時羅馬人一定會來奪取我們的土地，擄掠我們的人民。」當年擔任大祭司的該亞法對他們說：「你們什麼都不懂！你們沒有認識到，祂一個人替眾人死，而不是整個民族滅亡，對你們來說更好。」

祂天天在聖殿教導人，祭司長、律法教師和百姓的官長都想殺祂，只是無從下手，因為百姓都十分喜愛聽祂講道。

使徒被帶來後站在公會前，大祭司盤問他們，說：「我們不是嚴禁你們奉耶穌的名去教導百姓嗎？你們竟然在耶路撒冷各處傳道，還想把殺那人的血債歸到我們身上！」

使他們都合而為一，正如父你在我裡面，我在你裡面一樣，並且使他們也在我們裡面，好讓世人相信是你差我來的。
