Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.

So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.

who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.

But He commanded them strictly that no one should know it, and said that something should be given her to eat.

I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

Then God said,“ Let there be light”; and there was light.

And He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered,“ O Lord GOD, You know.”Again He said to me,“ Prophesy to these bones, and say to them,‘ O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones:“ Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”’”So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.Also He said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’”So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.

And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in.

“ The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up.

“ I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction! Pity is hidden from My eyes.”

Then they took the body of Jesus, and bound it in strips of linen with the spices, as the custom of the Jews is to bury.

For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

Jesus said,“ Take away the stone.” Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him,“ Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days.”
