耶穌聞之、曰、此病不至死、乃為上帝之榮、俾上帝子以是而榮也、

耶穌曰、我不語汝云、爾若信、將見上帝之榮乎、

既入、則曰、胡為紛擾哭泣乎、女非死、乃寢耳、眾哂之、耶穌屏眾、率女之父母與從者入女所、執其手曰、大利大古米、譯即幼女乎、吾語爾起、女即起、且行、蓋年十有二矣、眾甚駭異、

此耶穌諸異蹟之始、行之於加利利之迦拿、而顯其榮、其徒信之、○

父歟、願爾榮爾名、時、自天有聲云、我既榮之、將再榮之、

依我之企望、概無所愧、而毅然如常、今或生或死、基督將於我身丕顯、

耶穌言竟、舉目仰天曰、父歟、時至矣、祈榮爾子、致子榮爾也、

上帝自死起之、予之榮、致爾信爾望皆在上帝、

然則彼蹶至於傾陷乎、非也、乃以其過犯而拯及異邦、致發其憤也、

充以義之實、由耶穌基督、致榮與頌歸於上帝、○

或宣道則依上帝之詔、或執事則依上帝所賜之能、致上帝由耶穌基督凡事受榮、願榮與權歸之、爰及世世、阿們、○

凡屬我者屬爾、屬爾者屬我、我於彼而榮矣、

猶太人又呼素瞽者曰、爾宜歸榮上帝、我知斯人乃罪人也、
