耶稣听见，就说：“这病不至于死，而是为了神的荣耀，使神的儿子因此得到荣耀。”

耶稣说：“我不是对你说过‘如果你信，就必定看见神的荣耀’吗？”

耶稣回答：“不是他犯了罪，也不是他的父母犯了罪，而是要在他身上彰显神的作为。

你们要是为基督的名受辱骂，就有福了！因为神荣耀的灵，住在你们身上。

使所有的人尊敬子好像尊敬父一样。不尊敬子的，就是不尊敬那差他来的父。

他出去以后，耶稣就说：“现在人子得了荣耀，神也在人子身上得了荣耀，（神既然在人子身上得了荣耀，）（有些抄本无此句）也要在自己身上荣耀人子，并且要立刻荣耀他。

耶稣回答：“如果我荣耀自己，我的荣耀就算不得什么；那使我得荣耀的是我的父，就是你们说是你们的神的那一位。

父啊，现在让我在你自己面前得着荣耀，就是在创世以前我与你同享的荣耀。

就走进去，对众人说：“为什么大哭大嚷呢？孩子不是死了，是睡着了。”众人就嘲笑他。耶稣把众人都赶出去，带着孩子的父母和跟随他的门徒，进入孩子所在的房间。耶稣拉着孩子的手，对她说：“大利大，古米！”翻译出来就是：“小女孩，我吩咐你起来！”那女孩子就立刻起来行走；那时她已经十二岁了。众人就非常惊奇。

这是耶稣所行的第一件神迹，是在加利利的迦拿行的。他显出了自己的荣耀，他的门徒就信了他。

父啊，愿你荣耀你的名！”当时有声音从天上来，说：“我已经荣耀了我的名，还要再荣耀。”

我所热切期待和盼望的，就是在凡事上我都不会羞愧，只要满有胆量，不论生死，总要让基督在我身上照常被尊为大。

耶稣讲完了这些话，就举目望天，说：“父啊，时候到了，求你荣耀你的儿子，让儿子也荣耀你，

藉着他，你们信那使他从死人中复活、又给他荣耀的神，叫你们的信心和盼望都在于神。

那么我要说，他们失足是要倒下去吗？绝对不是！反而因为他们的过犯，救恩就临到外族人，为了要激起他们奋发。

靠着耶稣基督结满了公义的果子，使神得着荣耀和赞美。

讲道的，应当按着神的圣言讲；服事的，应当按着神所赐的力量服事，为要在一切事上，使神藉耶稣基督得荣耀。荣耀、权能都是他的，直到永永远远。阿们。

我的一切都是你的，你的一切也是我的，并且我因着他们得了荣耀。

于是法利赛人第二次把那从前瞎眼的人叫来，对他说：“你应当归荣耀给神，我们知道这人是个罪人。”
