If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. (niv)

that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him. (niv)

When he was gone, Jesus said,“ Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him.If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once. (niv)

Jesus replied,“ If I glorify myself, my glory means nothing. My Father, whom you claim as your God, is the one who glorifies me. (niv)

He went in and said to them,“ Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.”But they laughed at him. After he put them all out, he took the child’s father and mother and the disciples who were with him, and went in where the child was.He took her by the hand and said to her,“ Talitha koum!”( which means“ Little girl, I say to you, get up!”).Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around( she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished. (niv)

What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him. (niv)

Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came from heaven,“ I have glorified it, and will glorify it again.” (niv)

I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. (niv)

After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:“ Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. (niv)

If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. (niv)
