Martha answered,“ I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

Martha answered,“ I know he will rise again. This will happen when people are raised from the dead on the last day.”

Martha said to him,“ I know that he will rise again in the resurrection on the last day.”

“ Yes,” Martha said,“ he will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day.”

Martha said to him,“ I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

Martha* said to Him,“ I know that he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”

Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

Martha said,“ I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

Martha said,“ I know that he will come back to life again in the resurrection at the last day.”

I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust.

Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voiceand come forth— those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just.”

After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.

Your dead shall live; Together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; For your dew is like the dew of herbs, And the earth shall cast out the dead.

He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken.

Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection.

But when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council,“ Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee; concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am being judged!”And when he had said this, a dissension arose between the Pharisees and the Sadducees; and the assembly was divided.For Sadducees say that there is no resurrection— and no angel or spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.Then there arose a loud outcry. And the scribes of the Pharisees’ party arose and protested, saying,“ We find no evil in this man; but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him, let us not fight against God.”

The same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Him and asked Him,saying:“ Teacher, Moses said that if a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.Now there were with us seven brothers. The first died after he had married, and having no offspring, left his wife to his brother.Likewise the second also, and the third, even to the seventh.Last of all the woman died also.Therefore, in the resurrection, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had her.”Jesus answered and said to them,“ You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying,‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

“ I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death. O Death, I will be your plagues! O Grave, I will be your destruction! Pity is hidden from My eyes.”

because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked, while others said,“ We will hear you again on this matter.”

Like sheep they are laid in the grave; Death shall feed on them; The upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; And their beauty shall be consumed in the grave, far from their dwelling.But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, For He shall receive me. Selah

The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.And He said to me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered,“ O Lord GOD, You know.”Again He said to me,“ Prophesy to these bones, and say to them,‘ O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones:“ Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”’”So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.Also He said to me,“ Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath,‘ Thus says the Lord God:“ Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’”So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some to everlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever.

As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.
