Martha answered,“ I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.”

“ Yes,” Martha said,“ he will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day.”

Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

Martha said,“ I know that he will come back to life again in the resurrection at the last day.”

having hope toward God, which these also themselves look for, that there shall be a resurrection both of the just and unjust.

Marvel not at this: for the hour cometh, in which all that are in the tombs shall hear his voice,and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment.

and thou shalt be blessed; because they have not wherewith to recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed in the resurrection of the just.

After two days will he revive us: on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live before him.

Women received their dead by a resurrection: and others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Brethren, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees: touching the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and Sadducees; and the assembly was divided.For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.And there arose a great clamor: and some of the scribes of the Pharisees’ part stood up, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: and what if a spirit hath spoken to him, or an angel?

I will ransom them from the power of Sheol; I will redeem them from death: O death, where are thy plagues? O Sheol, where is thy destruction? repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

inasmuch as he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.Now when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked; but others said, We will hear thee concerning this yet again.

They are appointed as a flock for Sheol; Death shall be their shepherd: And the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; And their beauty shall be for Sheol to consume, That there be no habitation for it.But God will redeem my soul from the power of Sheol; For he will receive me.[ Selah

The hand of Jehovah was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of Jehovah, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.And he caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord Jehovah, thou knowest.Again he said unto me, Prophesy over these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of Jehovah.Thus saith the Lord Jehovah unto these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am Jehovah.So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and, behold, an earthquake; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.And I beheld, and, lo, there were sinews upon them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them.Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with beholding thy form.
