Jesus turned around and saw them following and said to them,“ What do you want?” So they said to him,“ Rabbi”( which is translated Teacher),“ where are you staying?”

Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked,“ What do you want?” They said,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are you staying?”

Then Jesus turned around and saw them following. He asked,“ What do you want?” They said,“ Rabbi, where are you staying?” Rabbi means Teacher.

Jesus looked around and saw them following.“ What do you want?” he asked them. They replied,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are you staying?”

When Jesus turned and noticed them following him, he asked them,“ What are you looking for?” They said to him,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are you staying?”

And Jesus turned and saw them following, and* said to them,“ What are you seeking?” They said to Him,“ Rabbi( which translated means Teacher), where are You staying?”

Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them,“ What do you seek?” They said to Him,“ Rabbi”( which is to say, when translated, Teacher),“ where are You staying?”

And Jesus turned, and beheld them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? And they said unto him, Rabbi( which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher), where abidest thou?

When Jesus turned and noticed them following Him, He asked them,“ What are you looking for?” They said to Him,“ Rabbi”( which means“ Teacher”),“ where are You staying?”

Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi,( which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?

Jesus turned and saw them following, and said to them,“ What are you looking for?” They said to him,“ Rabbi”( which is to say, being interpreted, Teacher),“ where are you staying?”

Nathanael answered him,“ Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel!”

Then Jesus asked them again,“ Who are you looking for?” And they said,“ Jesus the Nazarene.”

Then Jesus, because he knew everything that was going to happen to him, came and asked them,“ Who are you looking for?”

When they found him on the other side of the lake, they said to him,“ Rabbi, when did you get here?”

came to Jesus at night and said to him,“ Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs that you do unless God is with him.”

But Ruth replied,“ Stop urging me to abandon you! For wherever you go, I will go. Wherever you live, I will live. Your people will become my people, and your God will become my God.

So these approached Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and requested,“ Sir, we would like to see Jesus.”

So they came to John and said to him,“ Rabbi, the one who was with you on the other side of the Jordan River, about whom you testified– see, he is baptizing, and everyone is flocking to him!”

And when Jesus came to that place, he looked up and said to him,“ Zacchaeus, come down quickly, because I must stay at your house today.”

and elaborate greetings in the marketplaces, and to have people call them‘ Rabbi.’But you are not to be called‘ Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher and you are all brothers.

She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to what he said.

Jesus said to her,“ Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” Because she thought he was the gardener, she said to him,“ Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will take him.”Jesus said to her,“ Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic,“ Rabboni”( which means Teacher).

I have asked the LORD for one thing– this is what I desire! I want to live in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, so I can gaze at the splendor of the LORD and contemplate in his temple.

Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching at my doors day by day, waiting beside my doorway.

So Jesus stopped and ordered the beggar to be brought to him. When the man came near, Jesus asked him,“ What do you want me to do for you?” He replied,“ Lord, let me see again.”

When John’s messengers had gone, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John:“ What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?What did you go out to see? A man dressed in fancy clothes? Look, those who wear fancy clothes and live in luxury are in kings’ courts!What did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.This is the one about whom it is written,‘ Look, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.’

She is like a tree of life to those who obtain her, and everyone who grasps hold of her will be blessed.

Now large crowds were accompanying Jesus, and turning to them he said,

So Peter went down to the men and said,“ Here I am, the person you’re looking for. Why have you come?”

Then the Lord turned and looked straight at Peter, and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said to him,“ Before a rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.”

Tell me, O you whom my heart loves, where do you pasture your sheep? Where do you rest your sheep during the midday heat? Tell me lest I wander around beside the flocks of your companions!If you do not know, O most beautiful of women, simply follow the tracks of my flock, and pasture your little lambs beside the tents of the shepherds.

The one who associates with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.

The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying,

Therefore when you sent for me, I came without any objection. Now may I ask why you sent for me?”

So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way from home his father saw him, and his heart went out to him; he ran and hugged his son and kissed him.

Your attendants, who stand before you at all times and hear your wise sayings, are truly happy!
