“你们怎能说，‘我们有智慧，因为我们有耶和华的律法’？事实上，律法教师撒谎的笔把律法篡改了。

你们怎可以说：“我们是智慧人，我们有耶和华的律法”呢？事实上，经学家虚假的笔已把律法变成谎言了。

你們怎麼說：我們有智慧，耶和華的律法在我們這裏？看哪，文士的假筆舞弄虛假。

你們怎可以說：“我們是智慧人，我們有耶和華的律法”呢？事實上，經學家虛假的筆已把律法變成謊言了。

『你們怎能說：「我們有智慧，永恆主的指教在我們兜裏」呢？其實、你看，經學士虛假之筆舞弄着虛假呢！

爾曹奚曰、我乃智者、耶和華之法律在於我中、然文士虛偽之筆、使法律為虛偽、

奚必自誇為智、得耶和華之律例、繕寫舛謬、盡成偽例。

爾豈可自誇曰、我儕有智慧、主之律法為我所有、作律法徒然矣、繕寫律法徒然矣、

“‘ How can you say,“ We are wise, for we have the law of the Lord,” when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?

“‘ “How can you people say,‘ We are wise. We have the law of the Lord’? Actually, the teachers of the law have told lies about it. Their pens have not written what is true.

“ How can you say,‘ We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.

“‘ How can you say,“ We are wise because we have the word of the Lord,” when your teachers have twisted it by writing lies?

“ How can you claim,‘ We are wise; the law of the LORD is with us’? In fact, the lying pen of scribes has produced falsehood.

“ How can you say,‘ We are wise, And the Law of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes Has made it into a lie.

“ How can you say,‘ We are wise, And the law of the Lord is with us’? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.

How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of Jehovah is with us? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes hath wrought falsely.

“ How can you claim,‘ We are wise; the law of the Lord is with us’? In fact, the lying pen of scribes has produced falsehood.

How do ye say, We[ are] wise, and the law of the LORD[ is] with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he[ it]; the pen of the scribes[ is] in vain.

How can you say,“ We are wise! We have the law of the LORD”? The truth is, those who teach it have used their writings to make it say what it does not really mean.

“‘ How do you say,“ We are wise, and Yahweh’s law is with us?” But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has worked falsely.

祸哉！那些设立不义之律例的，和记录奸诈之判词的，为要扭曲贫寒人的案件，夺去我民中困苦人的理，以寡妇当作掳物，以孤儿当作掠物。

耶稣对他们说：“你们若是失明的，就没有罪了；但现在你们说‘我们能看见’，你们的罪还在。”

他破坏通达人的计谋，使他们手所做的不得成就。他使有智慧的人中了自己的诡计，叫狡诈人的计谋速速落空。

他废去忠信者的言论，夺去长者的见识。

他们自以为聪明，反成了愚昧，

就可以不孝敬他的父亲。’这就是你们藉着传统，废了神的话。

谁都不可自欺。你们中间若有人自以为在今世有智慧，倒不如变为愚拙，好成为有智慧的。因为这世界的智慧在神看来是愚拙的。如经上记着：“主使有智慧的人中了自己的诡计；”又说：“主知道智慧人的意念，因为它们是虚妄的。”

子孙为老人的冠冕；父母是儿女的荣耀。

他将他的道指示雅各，将他的律例典章指示以色列。

我为他写了许多条律法，他却以为与他毫无关系。

但是你，你既自称为犹太人，倚靠律法，以神夸口，知道神的旨意，从律法受了教导而能分辨是非；你既深信自己是给盲人领路的，是在黑暗中人的光，是无知的人的师傅，是小孩子的老师，体现了律法中的知识和真理；那么，你这教导别人的，还不教导自己吗？你这宣讲不可偷窃的，自己还偷窃吗？你这说不可奸淫的，自己还奸淫吗？你这厌恶偶像的，自己还抢劫庙中之物吗？你这以律法夸口的，自己倒违犯律法，羞辱神！神的名在外邦人中因你们受了亵渎，正如经上所记的。你若遵行律法，割礼固然于你有益；若违犯律法，你的割礼就算不得割礼。所以，那未受割礼的，若遵守律法的要求，他虽然未受割礼，岂不算是受了割礼吗？而且那本来未受割礼的，若能全守律法，岂不是要审判你这有仪文和割礼，竟违犯律法的人吗？因为外表是犹太人的不是真犹太人；外表肉身的割礼也不是真割礼。惟有内心作犹太人的才是真犹太人，真割礼也是心里的，在乎圣灵，不在乎仪文。这样的人所受的称赞不是从人来的，而是从神来的。

空虚的人若获得知识，野驴生下的驹子也成了人。
