爾豈可自誇曰、我儕有智慧、主之律法為我所有、作律法徒然矣、繕寫律法徒然矣、

“你们怎么说：‘我们有智慧，耶和华的律法在我们这里’？看哪，文士的假笔舞弄虚假。

“你们怎么说：‘我们有智慧，耶和华的律法在我们这里’？看哪，其实文士的假笔舞弄虚假。

“你们怎么说：‘我们有智慧，耶和华的律法在我们这里’？看哪，其实文士的假笔舞弄虚假。

“你们怎能说，‘我们有智慧，因为我们有耶和华的律法’？事实上，律法教师撒谎的笔把律法篡改了。

你们怎可以说：“我们是智慧人，我们有耶和华的律法”呢？事实上，经学家虚假的笔已把律法变成谎言了。

你們怎麼說：我們有智慧，耶和華的律法在我們這裏？看哪，文士的假筆舞弄虛假。

「你們怎能說，『我們有智慧，因為我們有耶和華的律法』？事實上，律法教師撒謊的筆把律法篡改了。

你們怎可以說：“我們是智慧人，我們有耶和華的律法”呢？事實上，經學家虛假的筆已把律法變成謊言了。

『你們怎能說：「我們有智慧，永恆主的指教在我們兜裏」呢？其實、你看，經學士虛假之筆舞弄着虛假呢！

爾曹奚曰、我乃智者、耶和華之法律在於我中、然文士虛偽之筆、使法律為虛偽、

奚必自誇為智、得耶和華之律例、繕寫舛謬、盡成偽例。

“‘ How can you say,“ We are wise, for we have the law of the Lord,” when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?

“‘ “How can you people say,‘ We are wise. We have the law of the Lord’? Actually, the teachers of the law have told lies about it. Their pens have not written what is true.

“ How can you say,‘ We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.

“‘ How can you say,“ We are wise because we have the word of the Lord,” when your teachers have twisted it by writing lies?

“ How can you claim,‘ We are wise; the law of the LORD is with us’? In fact, the lying pen of scribes has produced falsehood.

“ How can you say,‘ We are wise, And the Law of the Lord is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes Has made it into a lie.

“ How can you say,‘ We are wise, And the law of the Lord is with us’? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood.

How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of Jehovah is with us? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes hath wrought falsely.

“ How can you claim,‘ We are wise; the law of the Lord is with us’? In fact, the lying pen of scribes has produced falsehood.

How do ye say, We[ are] wise, and the law of the LORD[ is] with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he[ it]; the pen of the scribes[ is] in vain.

How can you say,“ We are wise! We have the law of the LORD”? The truth is, those who teach it have used their writings to make it say what it does not really mean.

“‘ How do you say,“ We are wise, and Yahweh’s law is with us?” But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has worked falsely.

立不善之法度、錄不義之判語、枉斷貧乏、使我民中困苦者含冤負屈、強據嫠婦之家貲、攘奪孤子之財產、行如是者、禍哉禍哉、

耶穌曰、爾若瞽、則無罪、今爾云我能見、則爾罪尚存也、

狡者敗其計、使其所謀使其所謀原文作使其手所作不得成、使巧者陷於己之狡計、使譎者之謀速敗、

使素有口才者、素有口才者或作盡忠者言詞遲純、使老者昧其知識、

自稱為智、反成愚魯、

遂可不敬父母、是爾以爾遺傳而廢天主之誡矣、

勿自欺、倘有人自視為智於此世、則寧為愚、以可為智、蓋此世之智、在天主前為愚、如經載云、主令智者自中其詭計、又載云、主知智者之意念皆徒然、

孫如老者之冕、父乃子之榮、

主以聖道教諭雅各族、以典章法律指示以色列民、

我為彼書我要例、要例或作多例彼反以為與己無與、

爾稱為猶太人、以律法是依、以天主為榮、為榮或作自誇既習於律法、得知其旨、能辨是非、自信為瞽者之相、在暗者之光、愚者之師、蒙者之傅、因在律法有知識及真理之模範、然則爾訓他人、而不訓己乎、爾言勿竊、而自竊乎、爾言勿姦、而自姦乎、爾惡偶像、而竊廟中物乎、爾以律法為誇、而自犯律法辱天主乎、天主名緣爾曹受謗讟於異邦人中、如經所載矣、○爾若遵行律法、割禮有益、若犯律法、雖受割禮、亦若未受、故未受割禮者、若守律法之誡、雖未受割禮、不可視為已受割禮乎、其素無割禮、而守律法者、豈不罪爾有儀文受割禮、仍犯律法乎、蓋顯為猶太人者、非猶太人、於身顯受之割禮、非割禮、隱為猶太人者、是誠猶太人、心之割禮、是真割禮、蓋在內心、不在儀文、其稱譽非由人、乃由天主、

世人空空無知、自其誕生、已如野驢之子、或作人雖空虛生如野驢之子亦當省悟
