他們坐下吃飯，舉目觀看，見有一夥米甸的以實瑪利人從基列來，用駱駝馱着香料、乳香、沒藥，要帶下埃及去。

埃及的民哪，可以上基列取乳香去；你雖多服良藥，總是徒然，不得治好。

耶和華如此說：你的損傷無法醫治；你的傷痕極其重大。無人為你分訴，使你的傷痕得以纏裹；你沒有醫治的良藥。你所親愛的都忘記你，不來探問你。我因你的罪孽甚大，罪惡眾多，曾用仇敵加的傷害傷害你，用殘忍者的懲治懲治你。你為何因損傷哀號呢？你的痛苦無法醫治。我因你的罪孽甚大，罪惡眾多，曾將這些加在你身上。故此，凡吞吃你的必被吞吃；你的敵人個個都被擄去；擄掠你的必成為擄物；搶奪你的必成為掠物。耶和華說：我必使你痊癒，醫好你的傷痕，都因人稱你為被趕散的，說：這是錫安，無人來探問的！

巴比倫忽然傾覆毀壞；要為她哀號；為止她的疼痛，拿乳香或者可以治好。

有一個女人，患了十二年的血漏，在醫生手裏花盡了她一切養生的，並沒有一人能醫好她。

他們的父親以色列說：「若必須如此，你們就當這樣行：可以將這地土產中最好的乳香、蜂蜜、香料、沒藥、榧子、杏仁都取一點，收在器具裏，帶下去送給那人作禮物，

耶穌對他們說：「無病的人用不着醫生；有病的人才用得着。我來本不是召義人悔改，乃是召罪人悔改。」

法利賽人看見，就對耶穌的門徒說：「你們的先生為甚麼和稅吏並罪人一同吃飯呢？」耶穌聽見，就說：「康健的人用不着醫生，有病的人才用得着。

你們為甚麼屢次悖逆，還要受責打嗎？你們已經滿頭疼痛，全心發昏。從腳掌到頭頂，沒有一處完全的，盡是傷口、青腫，與新打的傷痕，都沒有收口，沒有纏裹，也沒有用膏滋潤。
