凡在樓巔崇拜天象、又崇拜耶和華、指耶和華而誓、又指瑪勒堪瑪勒堪即摩洛又名米勒公亞捫族之神名而誓、

遂導我至主殿之內院、見在主殿之門、在廊與祭臺之間、約有二十五人、背主殿、面向東方、向東拜日、

皆必遭疫癘而死、無人哀哭、無人葬埋、必若糞土在地、亦有亡於鋒刃、死於饑饉、空中飛鳥、地上走獸、食其屍骸、

皆滅亡在音多珥、屍骸皆成地上之糞、

又恐爾舉目向天、見日月星辰及諸星宿、諸星宿或作諸天像即主爾之天主為天下萬民所陳列者、則自迷惑崇拜奉事、

故主論猶大王約雅敬如是云、其後嗣必無人坐於大衛之位、其屍必擲於外、書暴夜寒、

復建父希西家所毀之邱壇、為巴力設祭壇、作亞舍拉、崇拜奉事天象、在主之殿宇建祭壇、昔主云、我名必永在耶路撒冷、所言即指此殿、在主殿之二院、為天象建祭壇、

往奉事崇拜異邦之神、或日月、或天象星辰、為我所禁者、原文作非我所命者

設人生百子、又享遐齡、在世之年日甚多、而不得享所有以為福、死後亦不得安葬、以我觀之、以我觀之原文作我則曰胎死者較彼尤美、

棄主其天主之一切誡命、鎔鑄二犢、立亞舍拉、亞舍拉或作木偶崇拜天之萬象、奉事巴力、

遂返告耶戶、耶戶曰、此應主藉其僕提斯比人以利亞所言者、云、耶洗別必在耶斯烈田、為犬所食、耶洗別之屍在耶斯烈田、如糞在田、甚至人不得指之曰、是乃耶洗別也、

我必使人窘困、亂行若瞽者、因彼獲罪於主、故其血必流、視若塵埃、其身軀必成如糞壤、

必循我口所出之言而為、必焚香灌奠、奉事天后、循我平日所為、循昔我列祖與王公、在猶大諸邑、在耶路撒冷街衢所為、當時我得飽食享福、不遇患難、自我不焚香灌奠、奉事天后、我則缺乏一切、又遇鋒刃饑饉而亡、婦女曰、我焚香灌奠並作餅、以奉事天后、豈非我夫所許乎、
