So beware, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when people will no longer call it Topheth or the Valley of Ben Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter, for they will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room.

他們築了陀斐特的邱壇、就是那在欣嫩子平谷中的，去用火焚燒自己的兒女：這並不是我所吩咐的，也不是我心裏所起意過的。

耶路撒冷的房屋、和猶大列王的宮殿，就是一切房屋，人在那些房頂上向天上萬象燻祭或向別的神澆奠祭的，都必像陀斐特地方一樣地被沾污。」』

我必破毁你們的邱壇，砍下你們的香壇，把你們的屍身扔在你們的偶像的屍身上；我的心必厭棄你們。

我要將以色列人的屍身放在他們的偶像面前，使你們的骸骨四散在你們的祭壇四圍。你們無論住在甚麼地方，城市必變為荒場，邱壇必淒涼，以致你們的祭壇荒廢淒涼，你們的偶像被打破被毁壞，你們的香壇被砍下，你們製做的偶像被掃滅。被刺死的人必倒斃在你們中間；你們就知道我乃是永恆主。
