They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire— something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind.

在便欣嫩谷、築巴力崇邱、焚子女於火、以奉魔洛、此我所嚴禁、所痛疾、彼所作不端、使猶大人陷於罪戾。

焚獻子女、專用卜筮、維惡是務、干耶和華震怒。

昔異邦族類、行可惡之事、耶和華為以色列逐之、今亞哈士亦效其尤、在便欣嫩谷焚獻子女、

焚厥子女、以祭鬼神兮、流子女無辜之血、以祀迦南之偶像、污衊斯土兮、

服事崇拜他上帝、或日月、或天象、為我所禁者。

我賜爾生子女、爾以子女獻而焚之、爾狥欲若此、豈為細故。

耶和華諭摩西曰、告以色列族、凡爾族中、爰及賓旅、獻子女以享摩洛者、殺無赦、民以石擊之。彼獻子女、以享摩洛、污我聖室、瀆我聖名、我必降罰、絕於民中。若鄰里目擊其事、佯為不見、不置之死、我必罰之、及其眷聚、凡縱私欲奉摩洛、效彼為非者、絕之民中。

在便欣嫩谷、焚獻其子、亦用術數、卜筮、從巫覡、憑卜神、於耶和華前、多行不義、干厥震怒。

蓋彼爇子女、以事其上帝、凡耶和華所惡之事、無不作為、爾之事爾上帝耶和華勿是則是效。

彼事巴力、築崇丘以奉之、焚子女以獻之、我所嚴禁、我所痛疾。耶和華又曰、時日將至、人必不復以陀法便欣嫩谷名斯土、而以殺戮稱之。

偕往東門之外、便欣嫩谷、以我所言播告於眾、云、

在壇殺崇坵之祭司、焚人骨於上、後歸耶路撒冷。

其界通便欣嫩子之谷、在耶布士邑、即耶路撒冷南、又至便欣嫩谷之西山、即哩乏音谷北。
