Therefore say to them,‘ This is the nation that has not obeyed the Lord its God or responded to correction. Truth has perished; it has vanished from their lips.

So say to them,‘ You are a nation that has not obeyed the Lord your God. You did not pay attention when you were corrected. Truth has died out. You do not tell the truth anymore.’ ”

And you shall say to them,‘ This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God, and did not accept discipline; truth has perished; it is cut off from their lips.

Say to them,‘ This is the nation whose people will not obey the Lord their God and who refuse to be taught. Truth has vanished from among them; it is no longer heard on their lips.

Therefore, declare to them,‘ This is the nation that would not listen to the LORD their God and would not accept discipline. Truth has perished— it has disappeared from their mouths.

And you shall say to them,‘ This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God or accept discipline; trustworthiness has perished and has been eliminated from their mouth.

“ So you shall say to them,‘ This is a nation that does not obey the voice of the Lord their God nor receive correction. Truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.

And thou shalt say unto them, This is the nation that hath not hearkened to the voice of Jehovah their God, nor received instruction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

You must therefore declare to them: This is the nation that would not listen to the voice of the Lord their God and would not accept discipline. Truth has perished— it has disappeared from their mouths.

But thou shalt say unto them, This[ is] a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

So tell them:‘ This is a nation that has not obeyed the LORD their God and has not accepted correction. Faithfulness is nowhere to be found in it. These people do not even profess it anymore.

You shall tell them,‘ This is the nation that has not listened to Yahweh their God’s voice, nor received instruction. Truth has perished, and is cut off from their mouth.’

公平遠退、義理遙立、真實顛仆於街衢、正直欲入而不能、真誠不見、離惡者反受損害、其時主鑒觀、見無公義、則甚不悅、

禍哉、造孽之國、負罪之民、行惡之種、敗壞之子、違棄主、侮以色列之聖者、背主而退、爾屢增悖逆、尚有何處可擊、首皆已痛、心悉已憊、

彼以背向我、不以面向我、我屢屢原文作每晨誨之、惟彼不聽、不受督責、

彼不聽命、不受教、不倚賴主、不就近其天主、

主歟、主目顧誠實、主責之、彼不哀慟、彼不哀慟或作彼不覺痛幾乎殲滅之、彼仍不受教、彼顏堅於石、不肯歸誠、

敬畏天主、是為智慧之本、愚昧人藐視智慧與訓誨、

以色列人乎、宜聽主言、主必鞫斯地居民、因斯地無誠實、無仁義、無人識天主、

其實爾厭惡我之訓誨、將我之言語、棄置於後、

風箱己焦、鉛錫當因火而消、鍊而又鍊、終屬徒然、惡劣者仍然未除、人必稱之為被棄之銀、因主已棄之矣、

耶路撒冷歟、當受訓迪、否則我心厭棄爾、使爾荒蕪、成為無人居之地、

爾曹遍行耶路撒冷逵衢而細觀、於其街市訪覓、試觀有一人行公義、求誠實否、若有、則我必宥斯邑、

我責爾子亦徒然、彼不受教、爾刃殺爾諸先知若猛獅殘傷、

我諭斯民曰、爾當敬畏我、承受教誨、則在我降諸罰之際、爾之居所尚不致絕、則在我降諸罰之際爾之居所尚不致絕或作如此爾之居宅不致於循我所欲降之罰而毀滅然於凡所為、惟惡是務、惟惡是務或作仍殷勤自敗自壞

國中虔敬者已亡矣、人間正直者無有矣、眾皆設伏以殺人流血、彼此相陷陷原文作獵於網、彼此相陷於網或作彼此設網互相陷害長者或作牧伯伸手索賄、以非為是、或作手皆行惡且盡力行之長者索賄士師審判求利、大夫所言惟私慾、彼此聯絡為非、若編繩索、彼所謂善者、等諸荊棘、彼所謂正者、同於蒺藜、或作彼之最善義者惟如荊棘彼之最正直者但如蒺藜爾中先知所言之日、即爾受罰之日速至、是時眾俱荒亂、勿信同儔、勿恃密友、或作謹防同儔勿信密友向眷愛之妻、亦謹守爾口、

主曰、彼逞舌言誑、若張弓發矢、於國中得勢、非以真誠、更端作惡、更端作惡原文作由惡進惡不識我、當謹防鄰里、勿信兄弟、因兄弟相欺、鄰里讒毀、各相欺誑、不言真實、舌習言誑、勞勞作惡、主諭先知曰、爾居詭詐人中、因詭詐不願識我、故萬有之主如是云、我民若此、我何以處之乎、必陶鎔之、試鍊之、其舌若毒箭、毒箭或作利箭專言詭譎、向人口言平康、心謀殘害、
