The LORD said to the people of Judah,“ The LORD God of Israel who rules over all says:‘ You might as well go ahead and add the meat of your burnt offerings to that of the other sacrifices and eat it, too!

以色列族之上帝、萬有之主、耶和華曰、燔祭之肉、爾可食之、與禮物無異。

萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、爾之火焚祭、爾可自食其肉、與他祭品他祭品或作平安祭下同無異、

“‘ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Go ahead, add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices and eat the meat yourselves!

The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ Go ahead! Add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices. Eat the meat yourselves!

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices, and eat the flesh.

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Take your burnt offerings and your other sacrifices and eat them yourselves!

This is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices, and eat the meat yourselves,

This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat flesh.

Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:“ Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat meat.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Add your burnt- offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat ye flesh.

Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says:“ Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat meat.

They offer up sacrificial gifts to me, and eat the meat, but the LORD does not accept their sacrifices. Soon he will remember their wrongdoing, he will punish their sins, and they will return to Egypt.

I take no delight when they offer up to me frankincense that comes from Sheba or sweet-smelling cane imported from a faraway land. I cannot accept the burnt offerings they bring me. I get no pleasure from the sacrifices they offer to me.’

“ Of what importance to me are your many sacrifices?” says the LORD.“ I am stuffed with burnt sacrifices of rams and the fat from steers. The blood of bulls, lambs, and goats I do not want.When you enter my presence, do you actually think I want this– animals trampling on my courtyards?Do not bring any more meaningless offerings; I consider your incense detestable! You observe new moon festivals, Sabbaths, and convocations, but I cannot tolerate sin-stained celebrations!I hate your new moon festivals and assemblies; they are a burden that I am tired of carrying.When you spread out your hands in prayer, I look the other way; when you offer your many prayers, I do not listen, because your hands are covered with blood.

“ I absolutely despise your festivals! I get no pleasure from your religious assemblies!Even if you offer me burnt and grain offerings, I will not be satisfied; I will not look with favor on your peace offerings of fattened calves.Take away from me your noisy songs; I don’t want to hear the music of your stringed instruments.
