therefore will I do unto the house which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

故我所錫爾祖、及爾之地、與斯殿為籲我名之所、爾所恃者、我必敗之、如昔敗示羅然。

故我必廢棄斯殿、為我名而建者、即爾所恃者、亦必廢棄我所賜爾與爾列祖之處、如昔我在示羅所行者然、

Therefore, what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears my Name, the temple you trust in, the place I gave to you and your ancestors.

So what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house where my Name is. It is the temple you trust in. It is the place I gave to you and your people of long ago.

therefore I will do to the house that is called by my name, and in which you trust, and to the place that I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

So just as I destroyed Shiloh, I will now destroy this Temple that bears my name, this Temple that you trust in for help, this place that I gave to you and your ancestors.

what I did to Shiloh I will do to the house that bears my name, the house in which you trust, the place that I gave you and your ancestors.

therefore I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave you and your fathers, just as I did to Shiloh.

what I did to Shiloh I will do to the house that is called by My name— the house in which you trust— the place that I gave you and your ancestors.

Therefore will I do unto[ this] house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

So I will destroy this temple which I have claimed as my own, this temple that you are trusting to protect you. I will destroy this place that I gave to you and your ancestors, just like I destroyed Shiloh.

therefore I will do to the house which is called by my name, in which you trust, and to the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I did to Shiloh.

Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, the temple of Jehovah, are these.

And he burnt the house of Jehovah, and the king’s house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burnt he with fire.

And they shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fortified walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land; and they shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which Jehovah thy God hath given thee.

and come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered; that ye may do all these abominations?

And Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way; and his disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.But he answered and said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

And to the others he said in my hearing, Go ye through the city after him, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity;slay utterly the old man, the young man and the virgin, and little children and women; but come not near any man upon whom is the mark: and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the old men that were before the house.And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and smote in the city.

So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, The tent which he placed among men;

And he burned the house of Jehovah, and the king’s house; and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burned he with fire.And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down all the walls of Jerusalem round about.Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive of the poorest of the people, and the residue of the people that were left in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the residue of the multitude.But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the poorest of the land to be vinedressers and husbandmen.And the pillars of brass that were in the house of Jehovah, and the bases and the brazen sea that were in the house of Jehovah, did the Chaldeans break in pieces, and carried all the brass of them to Babylon.The pots also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.And the cups, and the firepans, and the basins, and the pots, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the bowls— that which was of gold, in gold, and that which was of silver, in silver,— the captain of the guard took away.The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve brazen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made for the house of Jehovah— the brass of all these vessels was without weight.And as for the pillars, the height of the one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a line of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof was four fingers: it was hollow.And a capital of brass was upon it; and the height of the one capital was five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the capital round about, all of brass: and the second pillar also had like unto these, and pomegranates.And there were ninety and six pomegranates on the sides; all the pomegranates were a hundred upon the network round about.

But unto the place which Jehovah your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come;

Micah the Morashtite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spake to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty; but they made the images of their abominations and their detestable things therein: therefore have I made it unto them as an unclean thing.And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall profane it.My face will I turn also from them, and they shall profane my secret place; and robbers shall enter into it, and profane it.

Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised thee, is burned with fire; and all our pleasant places are laid waste.

How is the gold become dim! how is the most pure gold changed! The stones of the sanctuary are poured out at the head of every street.

And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes, all these he brought to Babylon.And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.

The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet they lean upon Jehovah, and say, Is not Jehovah in the midst of us? no evil shall come upon us.Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

And now all the carved work thereof They break down with hatchet and hammers.They have set thy sanctuary on fire; They have profaned the dwelling- place of thy name by casting it to the ground.They said in their heart, Let us make havoc of them altogether: They have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.

And the Philistines fought, and Israel was smitten, and they fled every man to his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen.And the ark of God was taken; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain.

then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all peoples.And though this house is so high, yet shall every one that passeth by it be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath Jehovah done thus unto this land, and to this house?

and set up false witnesses, who said, This man ceaseth not to speak words against this holy place, and the law:for we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered unto us.

Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left behind shall fall by the sword.

then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.And the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of Jehovah.And it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that Jehovah had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold on him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.Why hast thou prophesied in the name of Jehovah, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without inhabitant? And all the people were gathered unto Jeremiah in the house of Jehovah.

And this house, which is so high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall say, Why hath Jehovah done thus unto this land, and to this house?

But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

The Lord hath cast off his altar, he hath abhorred his sanctuary; He hath given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces: They have made a noise in the house of Jehovah, as in the day of a solemn assembly.
