There at Riblah the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes; he also killed all the officials of Judah.

At Riblah the king of Babylon killed the sons of Zedekiah. He forced him to watch it with his own eyes. Nebuchadnezzar also killed all the officials of Judah.

The king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and also slaughtered all the officials of Judah at Riblah.

耶和华如此说：“要把这人登记为无子，是平生不得亨通的人；因为他后裔中再无一人得亨通，能坐在大卫的宝座上治理犹大。”

自己走开约有一箭之远，相对而坐，说：“我不忍心看见孩子死”。她就坐在对面，放声大哭。

所以主耶和华如此说：你们在城中杀的人是肉，这城是锅；你们却要从其中被带出去。你们怕刀剑，我却要使刀剑临到你们。这是主耶和华说的。我要把你们从这城中带出去，交在外邦人的手里，且要在你们中间施行审判。你们要仆倒在刀下；我必在以色列的边界审判你们，你们就知道我是耶和华。这城必不作你们的锅，你们也不作锅中的肉。我要在以色列的边界审判你们，

护卫长拿住西莱雅大祭司、西番亚副祭司和门口的三个守卫，又从城中拿住一个管理士兵的官，并在城里所找到王面前的五个亲信，和召募当地百姓之将军的书记官，以及在城中找到的六十个当地百姓。尼布撒拉旦护卫长把这些人带到利比拉的巴比伦王那里。巴比伦王击杀他们，在哈马地的利比拉把他们处死。这样，犹大人就被掳去离开本地。

若这年轻人不和我一起，我怎能上到我父亲那里呢？恐怕我要看到灾祸临到我父亲了。”

要将年老的、年轻的、少女、孩童和妇女，从我的圣所开始全都杀尽，只是不可挨近凡有记号的人。”于是他们从殿前的长老杀起。
