耶和华说：“你要把这人作为无儿无女、一生失败的人记录下来，因为他的后裔中无一人能成功地继承大卫的宝座，统治犹大。”

巴比伦王在西底迦面前杀了他的众子，又剜去他的双眼，把他用铜链锁着押往巴比伦。

自己走到离孩子约一箭之远的地方，对着孩子坐下，说：“我不忍心看着他死啊！”夏甲坐在那里放声大哭起来。

所以，主耶和华说，你们在城中杀死的人就是肉，这城就是锅，但我必把你们从锅中拉出来。你们惧怕刀剑，我必使刀剑临到你们。这是主耶和华说的。我必把你们从城中赶出去，交给外族人。我必惩罚你们，使你们死于刀下。我要审判整个以色列，这样你们就知道我是耶和华。这城必不是你们的锅，你们也必不是其中的肉，我必在全以色列施行审判。

护卫长尼布撒拉旦掳走祭司长西莱雅、副祭司长西番亚和三名殿门守卫，还从城中拿住一名统管士兵的将领、王的五个亲信、一名负责招兵的书记和六十名平民。护卫长尼布撒拉旦把他们带到利比拉去见巴比伦王，巴比伦王在那里处死了他们。犹大人就这样被掳去，离开了家园。

这孩子不和我一同回去，我如何见我父亲呢？我不愿看到灾难临到我父亲。”

护卫长掳走祭司长西莱雅、副祭司长西番亚、三名殿门守卫，又从城中掳走一名将领、王的七个亲信、一名负责招兵的书记和六十名平民，把他们带到利比拉去见巴比伦王。巴比伦王在那里处死了他们。犹大人就这样被掳去，离开了家园。

以致眼前的一切令你们发疯。

将男女老幼全部杀尽，但你们不能伤害额上有记号的。你们要从圣所开始。”于是他们首先杀了殿前的众长老。
