“ The nations say,‘ We would have healed Babylon. But it can’t be healed. So let’s leave it. Let’s each go to our own land. Babylon’s sins reach all the way to the skies. They rise up as high as the heavens.’

人们都投奔亲族，逃回故乡，好像被追赶的鹿，又如走散的羊。

你们要铲除在巴比伦撒种的和收割的。为躲避敌人的刀剑，人们各自逃到故土亲族那里。

因为她已经罪恶滔天，上帝没有忘记她一切的不义。

使他们跌跌绊绊，纷纷倒下。他们说，‘起来，我们回到同胞那里，回到故乡吧，好躲避敌人的刀剑。’

说：“我的上帝啊，我羞愧难当，不敢抬头看你，因为我们的恶行灭顶，我们的罪恶滔天。

撒玛利亚有一位耶和华的先知名叫俄德，他出城去迎接班师回来的军队，说：“看啊，你们祖先的上帝耶和华向犹大发怒，才将他们交在你们手中。你们竟怒气冲天，对他们大加杀戮。

你自幼交往的占星家帮不上你，他们都四散奔逃，无人救你。

他们说：“麦收已完，夏季已过，但我们还未得救。”

你梦见的树苍劲有力，高可参天，从地极都能看见。它的叶子美丽，果实累累，可作众生的食物。野兽住在它的荫下，飞鸟宿在它的枝头。王啊，这苍劲有力的树就是你，你的威名高达穹苍，你的权柄延至地极。

“当糊涂的伴娘去买油的时候，新郎来了。那些预备好的伴娘跟他一同进去参加婚宴，门就关了。后来，其他伴娘回来了，喊道，‘主啊！主啊！请给我们开门吧！’“新郎却说，‘我实在告诉你们，我不认识你们。’“所以，你们要警醒，因为你们不知道我回来的日子和时辰。

埃及的佣兵好像肥牛犊，都转身逃之夭夭，无力抵挡，因为他们遭难、受罚的日子到了。
