Then heaven and earth and all that is in them will shout for joy over Babylon, for out of the north destroyers will attack her,” declares the Lord.

So heaven and earth and everything in them will shout for joy. They will be glad because of what will happen to Babylon. Armies will attack it from the north. And they will destroy it,” announces the Lord.

Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them, shall sing for joy over Babylon, for the destroyers shall come against them out of the north, declares the Lord.

Then the heavens and earth will rejoice, for out of the north will come destroying armies against Babylon,” says the Lord.

Heaven and earth and everything in them will shout for joy over Babylon because the destroyers from the north will come against her. This is the LORD’s declaration.

Then heaven and earth and everything that is in them Will shout for joy over Babylon, Because the destroyers will come to her from the north,” Declares the Lord.

Then the heavens and the earth and all that is in them Shall sing joyously over Babylon; For the plunderers shall come to her from the north,” says the Lord.

A nation from the north will attack her and lay waste her land. No one will live in it; both people and animals will flee away. (niv)

Leave Babylon, flee from the Babylonians! Announce this with shouts of joy and proclaim it. Send it out to the ends of the earth; say,“ The Lord has redeemed his servant Jacob.” (niv)

Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. (niv)

The righteous will be glad when they are avenged, when they dip their feet in the blood of the wicked.Then people will say,“ Surely the righteous still are rewarded; surely there is a God who judges the earth.” (niv)

When the righteous prosper, the city rejoices; when the wicked perish, there are shouts of joy. (niv)

“‘ The Lord has vindicated us; come, let us tell in Zion what the Lord our God has done.’“ Sharpen the arrows, take up the shields! The Lord has stirred up the kings of the Medes, because his purpose is to destroy Babylon. The Lord will take vengeance, vengeance for his temple. (niv)

After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting:“ Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”And again they shouted:“ Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. And they cried:“ Amen, Hallelujah!”Then a voice came from the throne, saying:“ Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both great and small!”Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting:“ Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. (niv)

Just and true are your ways, King of the nations.Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” (niv)

The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood.Then I heard the angel in charge of the waters say:“ You are just in these judgments, O Holy One, you who are and who were;for they have shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, and you have given them blood to drink as they deserve.”And I heard the altar respond:“ Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are your judgments.” (niv)

For I will stir up and bring against Babylon an alliance of great nations from the land of the north. They will take up their positions against her, and from the north she will be captured. Their arrows will be like skilled warriors who do not return empty-handed. (niv)
