心毋恇怯、聞風聲於斯土、亦毋驚惶、蓋今歲必聞風聲、明年亦然、境內有強暴、民長相攻、

歲有浮言、長者搆兵、鬥聲聞於斯土、爾勿喪膽、勿恐懼。

斯地聞凶信、此年有凶信、明年更有凶信、強暴之事、遍於斯地、暴虐者繼暴虐者、爾勿因以喪膽恐懼、

Do not lose heart or be afraid when rumors are heard in the land; one rumor comes this year, another the next, rumors of violence in the land and of ruler against ruler.

You will hear about terrible things that are happening in Babylon. But do not lose hope. Do not be afraid. You will hear one thing this year. And you will hear something else next year. You will hear about awful things in the land. You will hear about one ruler fighting against another.

Let not your heart faint, and be not fearful at the report heard in the land, when a report comes in one year and afterward a report in another year, and violence is in the land, and ruler is against ruler.

But do not panic; don’t be afraid when you hear the first rumor of approaching forces. For rumors will keep coming year by year. Violence will erupt in the land as the leaders fight against each other.

May you not become cowardly and fearful when the report is proclaimed in the land, for the report will come one year, and then another the next year. There will be violence in the land with ruler against ruler.

Now, so that your heart does not grow faint, And you are not afraid at the report that will be heard in the land— For the report will come in one year, And after that another report in another year, And violence will be in the land With ruler against ruler—

And lest your heart faint, And you fear for the rumor that will be heard in the land( A rumor will come one year, And after that, in another year A rumor will come, And violence in the land, Ruler against ruler),

And let not your heart faint, neither fear ye for the tidings that shall be heard in the land; for tidings shall come one year, and after that in another year shall come tidings, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

Do not lose your courage or become afraid because of the reports that are heard in the land. For a report will come in one year. Another report will follow it in the next. There will be violence in the land with ruler fighting against ruler.”

Don’t let your heart faint. Don’t fear for the news that will be heard in the land. For news will come one year, and after that in another year news will come, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

看哪，我要使他的心驚顫（“使他的心驚顫”原文作“放一個靈在他裡面”），他將聽見消息，就退回自己的地方去；我要使他在自己的國土倒在刀下。’”

我向我特選的軍兵下了命令；我也呼召了我的勇士，就是我那些驕傲自誇的人，去執行我在怒氣中所要作的。聽啊！山上有喧嘩的聲音，好像是眾多的人民；聽啊！有多國的人的嘈雜聲，好像是列國聚集在一起。萬軍之耶和華正在數點軍兵，預備打仗。他們從遠地而來，從天邊而來。就是耶和華和他惱怒的工具，要毀滅這全地。

我要激動埃及人去攻擊埃及人，他們就相爭起來，各人攻擊自己的兄弟，各人攻擊自己的鄰舍，城攻擊城；國攻擊國。

我被指示去看一個慘酷的異象：那行詭詐的仍然行詭詐，那行破壞的仍然行破壞。以攔哪，上去吧！瑪代啊，圍攻吧！我要使一切歎息止住。因此，我滿腰疼痛，痛苦抓住我，好像產婦的痛苦一樣；我絞痛彎腰至聽不見，我驚惶至看不到。

在便雅憫的基比亞，掃羅的瞭望兵看見非利士人的大軍潰敗，四處逃竄。於是掃羅對跟隨他的眾民說：“你們數點一下，看看誰從我們這裡出去了。”他們一數點，就發現約拿單和替他拿武器的不在那裡。掃羅對亞希亞說：“把神的約櫃運來！”因為那時神的約櫃在以色列人那裡。掃羅正對祭司說話的時候，非利士營中的騷亂越來越大，掃羅就對祭司說：“住手吧！”掃羅和所有跟隨他的人就聚集起來，到了戰場，就看見非利士人用刀互相擊殺，十分混亂。

你們聽見戰爭和戰爭的風聲，也不要驚慌，這是免不了的，不過，結局還沒有到。一個民族要起來攻打另一個民族，一個國家要起來攻打另一個國家，到處要有地震，有饑荒，這些不過是痛苦的開始。

一有這些事，你們就當挺身昂首，因為你們的救贖近了。”

“至於你，我的僕人雅各啊！你不要懼怕。以色列啊！你不要驚慌。因為我必從遠方拯救你回來，從被擄之地必拯救你的後裔脫離他們被擄之地。雅各必歸回，得享平靜安逸，沒有人可以使他害怕。

三百人吹那三百枝角的時候，耶和華使全營的人用刀互相擊殺，然後他們向著西利拉逃到伯．哈示他，直到靠近他巴的亞伯．米何拉河邊。

你們要聽見戰爭，也聽見戰爭的風聲；你們要小心，不要驚慌，因為這是免不了的，不過結局還沒有到。一個民族要起來攻打另一個民族，一個國家要起來攻打另一個國家，到處都有饑荒和地震，這一切不過是痛苦的開始。

你們要聽見戰亂和暴動，但不要驚慌，因為這些事是必先發生的，不過結局卻不會立刻就到。”過了一會兒，耶穌又對他們說：“一個民族要起來攻打另一個民族，一個國家要起來攻打另一個國家。必有大地震，到處有饑荒和瘟疫，天上必有又恐怖又巨大的預兆。但在這一切以先，人必為我的名，下手拘捕、迫害你們，把你們交給會堂，下在監裡，甚至押到君王和總督面前，結果卻成了你們見證的機會。所以，你們應當心裡鎮定，用不著預先思慮怎樣申辯。因為我必賜給你們口才、智慧，是你們所有的敵人不能抵抗，也不能駁倒的。你們也會被父母、弟兄、親戚、朋友出賣，他們又要害死你們一些人。你們要因我的名，被眾人恨惡，然而連你們的一根頭髮，也必不失落。你們要以堅忍的心志，贏取自己的靈魂。

原來亞捫人和摩押人起來攻擊住西珥山的人，把他們殺盡滅絕；他們滅盡了住西珥山的人以後，竟又自相殘殺。
