This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:“ Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled; the time to harvest her will soon come.”

The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ The city of Babylon is like a threshing floor when cattle are walking on it. The time to destroy it will soon come.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while and the time of her harvest will come.”

This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Babylon is like wheat on a threshing floor, about to be trampled. In just a little while her harvest will begin.”

錫安哪，起來踹穀吧！我必使你的角成為鐵，使你的蹄成為銅。你必打碎許多民族，將他們的財寶獻給耶和華，將他們的財富獻給全地的主。

撒雜草的仇敵就是魔鬼，收割的時候就是世代的終結，收割的人就是天使。

你發怒遍行大地，以怒氣責打列國，如打穀一般。

像人收割成熟的禾稼，用手臂割取麥穗，又像人在利乏音谷拾取穗子；其間所剩不多，好像人打橄欖樹，在最高的樹梢上只剩兩、三顆橄欖，在多結果子的旁枝上只剩四、五顆；這是耶和華－以色列的上帝說的。當那日，人必仰望造他們的主，眼目看着以色列的聖者。他們必不仰望自己手所築的祭壇，也不理會自己指頭所造的亞舍拉和香壇。當那日，他們堅固的城必因以色列人的緣故，如同樹林中和山頂上所撇棄的地方。這樣，地就荒蕪了。因你忘記拯救你的上帝，忘記那保護你的磐石；所以，你雖栽上佳美的樹苗，插上別樣的枝子，栽種的日子，你使它生長，栽種的早晨，你使它開花，但在愁苦、極其傷痛的日子，所收割的都歸無有。

另有一位天使從聖所出來，向那坐在雲上的大聲喊着：「伸出你的鐮刀來收割吧，因為收割的時候已經到了，地上的莊稼已經熟透了。」於是那坐在雲上的把鐮刀向地上揮去，地上的莊稼就收割了。另有一位天使從天上的聖所出來，他也拿着鋒利的鐮刀。另有一位天使從祭壇出來，是有權柄管火的，向那拿着鋒利鐮刀的大聲喊着說：「伸出鋒利的鐮刀來，收取地上葡萄樹的果子，因為葡萄熟透了。」那天使就把鐮刀向地上揮去，收取了地上的葡萄，扔進上帝憤怒的大醡酒池裏。那醡酒池在城外被踹踏，有血從醡酒池裏流出來，漲到馬的嚼環那麼高，約有一千六百斯他迪那麼遠。

耶和華如此說：「大馬士革三番四次犯罪，以鐵的打穀機擊打基列，我必不撤銷對它的懲罰。

讓這兩樣一起長，等到收割。當收割的時候，我會對收割的人說，先把雜草拔出來，捆成捆，留着燒，把麥子收在我的倉裏。』」
