Let not the archer string his bow, nor let him put on his armor. Do not spare her young men; completely destroy her army.

Do not let its soldiers get their bows ready to use. Do not let them put on their armor. Do not spare their young men. Destroy their armies completely.

Let not the archer bend his bow, and let him not stand up in his armor. Spare not her young men; devote to destruction all her army.

要装备马匹，骑上战马；站好岗位，戴上头盔；磨快枪矛，穿上铁甲。

所有拉弓的啊！你们要在巴比伦四围列阵；射箭攻击它，不要吝啬箭枝，因为它得罪了耶和华。

“你们要攻击米拉大翁的地，上去攻击她，又攻击比割的居民，屠杀他们，把他们彻底消灭，照着我吩咐你们的一切执行。”这是耶和华的宣告。

天上的星星和众星座不再发光；太阳刚出来就变为黑暗，月亮也不再发光。我必因世界的邪恶施行刑罚，也必因恶人的罪孽惩罚他们；我要使狂妄人的骄傲止息，使强暴人的狂傲降卑。我必使人比精金还少，使人比俄斐的金更稀罕。在万军之耶和华发怒的时候，就是我大发烈怒的日子，我要使天震动，大地必摇撼，离开本位。人必像被追猎的羚羊，又像无人招聚的羊群，各自归向本族，各自逃回本地。凡被追上的，必被刺死；凡被捉住的，必倒在刀下。他们的婴孩必在他们眼前被摔死；他们的房屋必被抢掠，他们的妻子必被污辱。看哪！我要激动玛代人来攻击他们。玛代人不重视银子，也不喜爱金子。他们的弓箭必射倒年轻人，他们不怜悯妇人腹中的婴儿；他们的眼也不顾惜小孩。

“要召集弓箭手去攻击巴比伦，要召集所有拉弓的；要在巴比伦的四围安营攻击它，不容一人逃脱。要照着它的所作所为报应它，它怎样待人，你们也要怎样待它；因它狂傲地敌对耶和华，与以色列的圣者为敌。所以，它的年轻人必仆倒在它的街道上，到那一天，它所有的战士都必被消灭。”这是耶和华的宣告。

因为死亡从窗户上来，进入我们的堡垒；要从街上剪除孩童，从广场上剪除年轻人。

要击杀它所有的公牛，使他们下去被屠杀！他们有祸了！因为他们的日子，就是他们受惩罚的时候，来到了。

外有刀剑，内有惊恐，使人丧亡，使少男少女，婴孩和白发老人，尽都丧亡。

因为对不行怜悯的人，审判他们的时候就没有怜悯；怜悯胜过审判。

“看哪！有一个民族从北方而来，有一大国和许多君王被激动，从地极来到。他们紧握弓和枪，性情残忍，毫无怜悯；他们的声音像海洋怒吼；巴比伦的居民哪！他们骑着战马，在战场上如同一人，列阵攻击你们。

抓住你的婴孩摔在磐石上的，那人有福了。
