Let not the archer string his bow, nor let him put on his armor. Do not spare her young men; completely destroy her army.

要套好战车，骑上战马，擦亮矛枪，顶盔贯甲。

弓箭手啊，你们要列阵围攻巴比伦，向她猛射，不要吝啬箭枝，因为她得罪了耶和华。

“你们要去攻打米拉大翁和比割的居民，照我的命令彻底消灭他们。这是耶和华说的。

天上的星辰不再发光，太阳刚出来就变黑，月亮也暗淡无光。我必惩罚这罪恶的世界，惩治邪恶的世人，制止骄横之人的狂妄，压下残暴之徒的骄傲。我必使人比精炼的金子还稀少，比俄斐的纯金更罕见。我万军之耶和华发烈怒的日子，必震动诸天，摇撼大地。人们都投奔亲族，逃回故乡，好像被追赶的鹿，又如走散的羊。被捉住的人都会被刺死，被逮住的人都会丧身刀下。他们的婴孩将被摔死在他们眼前，家园遭劫掠，妻子被蹂躏。看啊，我要驱使玛代人来攻击他们。玛代人不在乎金子，也不看重银子，他们必用弓箭射死青年，不怜悯婴儿，也不顾惜孩童。

“要召集所有的弓箭手来攻打巴比伦，在她四围扎营，不让一人漏网。要照她的所作所为报应她；她怎样对待别人，也要怎样对待她，因为她藐视耶和华——以色列的圣者。她的青年要倒毙街头，那时她所有的战士都要灭亡。”这是耶和华说的。

因为死亡从窗户爬进我们的城堡，吞灭街上的孩童和广场上的青年。

你们要杀掉她所有的士兵，把他们全部屠杀。他们大祸临头了，惩罚他们的日子到了。

外有刀剑杀戮，内有恐惧笼罩，少男、少女、婴儿、老人无一幸免。

因为不怜悯人的会受到无情的审判，但怜悯胜过审判。

“看啊，大军要从北方而来，一个强国及其盟军要从地极而来。巴比伦人啊，他们残忍无道，手持弓箭和矛枪，骑着战马，列阵攻击你们，声势如翻腾的大海。

那抓住你的婴孩摔在石头上的人有福了！
