When his voice thunders, the waters in the heavens roar. He makes the clouds rise from the far-off horizons. He makes the lightning flash out in the midst of the rain. He unleashes the wind from the places where he stores it.

他一发声，空中便有多水激动；他使云雾从地极上腾。他造电随雨而闪，从他府库中带出风来。

The sound of the wings of the cherubim could be heard from the outer court, like the sound of the sovereign God when he speaks.

He then orders it all to melt; he breathes on it, and the water flows.

But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to blow over the earth and the waters receded.

Whether it is for punishment for his land, or whether it is for mercy, he causes it to find its mark.

Can you raise your voice to the clouds so that a flood of water covers you?Can you send out lightning bolts, and they go? Will they say to you,‘ Here we are’?Who has put wisdom in the heart, or has imparted understanding to the mind?Who by wisdom can count the clouds, and who can tip over the water jars of heaven,when the dust hardens into a mass, and the clumps of earth stick together?

to the one who rides through the sky from ancient times! Look! He thunders loudly.

Moses stretched out his hand toward the sea, and the LORD drove the sea apart by a strong east wind all that night, and he made the sea into dry land, and the water was divided.

Do you have an arm as powerful as God’s, and can you thunder with a voice like his?

Your shout made the waters retreat; at the sound of your thunderous voice they hurried off–

and the LORD turned a very strong west wind, and it picked up the locusts and blew them into the Red Sea. Not one locust remained in all the territory of Egypt.

Nations are in uproar, kingdoms are overthrown. God gives a shout, the earth dissolves.

He brought the east wind through the sky, and by his strength led forth the south wind.

“ Yes, God is great– beyond our knowledge! The number of his years is unsearchable.He draws up drops of water; they distill the rain into its mist,which the clouds pour down and shower on humankind abundantly.Who can understand the spreading of the clouds, the thunderings of his pavilion?See how he scattered his lightning about him; he has covered the depths of the sea.It is by these that he judges the nations and supplies food in abundance.With his hands he covers the lightning, and directs it against its target.His thunder announces the coming storm, the cattle also, concerning the storm’s approach.

Have you entered the storehouse of the snow, or seen the armory of the hail,

“ You Israelites are just like the Ethiopians in my sight,” says the LORD.“ Certainly I brought Israel up from the land of Egypt, but I also brought the Philistines from Caphtor and the Arameans from Kir.

But he said to them,“ Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was dead calm.And the men were amazed and said,“ What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!”

The LORD’s shout is heard over the water; the majestic God thunders, the LORD appears over the surging water.The LORD’s shout is powerful, the LORD’s shout is majestic.The LORD’s shout breaks the cedars, the LORD shatters the cedars of Lebanon.He makes Lebanon skip like a calf and Sirion like a young ox.The LORD’s shout strikes with flaming fire.The LORD’s shout shakes the wilderness, the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.The LORD’s shout bends the large trees and strips the leaves from the forests. Everyone in his temple says,“ Majestic!”The LORD sits enthroned over the engulfing waters, the LORD sits enthroned as the eternal king.

So Moses extended his staff over the land of Egypt, and then the LORD brought an east wind on the land all that day and all night. The morning came, and the east wind had brought up the locusts!
