『看吧，仇敵像獅子從約但河邊的叢林上來，攻擊歷久不壞的田莊；一眨眼之間我就要使他們都跑走、離開這地了；誰蒙揀選，我就派誰治理這地。因為誰能比得上我呢？誰能定期傳我對訊呢？有哪一個牧民者能在我面前站立得住呢？

看哪！狮子怎样从约旦河边的丛林走上来，攻击常绿的牧场，照样，我必在眨眼之间把巴比伦赶走，使它离开这地；谁蒙拣选，我就派谁治理这地。谁能和我相比呢？谁可以把我传来审讯呢？哪一个牧人能在我面前站立得住呢？”

敵必若獅、自約但之叢林而出、攻其恆茂之草場、我必令其突然逃避、且立所選者治之、誰與我比擬、誰與我爭辯、牧者伊誰、立於我前、

孰能與我比儗、孰能與我辯論、孰能為民牧侍於我側、我遴選之、以目會意、彼則疾趨、攻擊斯邦、譬彼獅子、因約但之水漲溢、出自河濱、遊於牧地、青草芊綿。

敵必忽來、如獅自約但河濱之叢林而上、攻擊鞏固之所、轉瞬之間、我將巴比倫人逐於其地、誰蒙簡選、則我命之以轄斯地、孰能與我比擬、孰能與我爭辯、有何牧人、能立於我前、

Like a lion coming up from Jordan’s thickets to a rich pastureland, I will chase Babylon from its land in an instant. Who is the chosen one I will appoint for this? Who is like me and who can challenge me? And what shepherd can stand against me?”

I will be like a lion coming up from the bushes by the Jordan River. I will hunt in rich grasslands. I will chase the people of Babylon from their land in an instant. What nation will I choose to do this? Which one will I appoint? Is anyone like me? Who would dare to argue with me? What leader can stand against me?”

“ Behold, like a lion coming up from the thicket of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly make them run away from her, and I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like me? Who will summon me? What shepherd can stand before me?

“ I will come like a lion from the thickets of the Jordan, leaping on the sheep in the pasture. I will chase Babylon from its land, and I will appoint the leader of my choice. For who is like me, and who can challenge me? What ruler can oppose my will?”

“ Look, it will be like a lion coming from the thickets of the Jordan to the watered grazing land. I will chase Babylon away from her land in a flash. I will appoint whoever is chosen for her. For who is like me? Who will issue me a summons? Who is the shepherd who can stand against me?”

“ Behold, one will come up like a lion from the thicket of the Jordan to a perennially watered pasture; for in an instant I will chase them away from it, and I will appoint over it whoever is chosen. For who is like Me, and who will summon Me into court? And who then is the shepherd who can stand against Me?”

“ Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the floodplain of the Jordan Against the dwelling place of the strong; But I will make them suddenly run away from her. And who is a chosen man that I may appoint over her? For who is like Me? Who will arraign Me? And who is that shepherd Who will withstand Me?”

Behold, the enemy shall come up like a lion from the pride of the Jordan against the strong habitation: for I will suddenly make them run away from it; and whoso is chosen, him will I appoint over it: for who is like me? and who will appoint me a time? and who is the shepherd that can stand before me?

“ Look, it will be like a lion coming from the thickets of the Jordan to the watered grazing land. Indeed, I will chase Babylon away from her land in a flash. I will appoint whoever is chosen for her. For who is like Me? Who will summon Me? Who is the shepherd who can stand against Me?”

Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who[ is] a chosen[ man, that] I may appoint over her? for who[ is] like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who[ is] that shepherd that will stand before me?

“ A lion coming up from the thick undergrowth along the Jordan scatters the sheep in the pastureland around it. So too I will chase the Babylonians off of their land. Then I will appoint over it whomever I choose. For there is no one like me. There is no one who can call me to account. There is no ruler that can stand up against me.

Behold, the enemy will come up like a lion from the pride of the Jordan against the strong habitation; for I will suddenly make them run away from it. Whoever is chosen, I will appoint him over it; for who is like me? Who will appoint me a time? Who is the shepherd who can stand before me?”

看吧，像獅子從約但河邊的叢林上來，攻擊歷久不壞的田莊；一眨眼之間我就要使以東人都跑走、離開這地了；誰蒙揀選，我就派誰治理這地。因為誰能比得上我呢？誰能定期傳我對訊呢？有哪一個牧民者能在我面前站立得住呢？因此你們要聽永恆主的計畫、聽他所設計以攻擊以東的；你們要聽永恆主的旨意、就是他所命定以攻擊提幔居民的。仇敵竟定要將他們民羣中蕞爾微小的也拉去；定要使他們的田莊因這些事而驚駭。因他們仆倒的響聲，地就震動；有哀叫聲，其響聲在蘆葦海也聽得到。

永恆主啊，在諸神中，誰能像你呢？誰能像你有至聖的威風，有可讚之可畏，施行着奇事呢？

在雲霄誰能跟永恆主並列？在神子們中間誰能跟永恆主相比呢？

你們要追念古時以來的往事；因為只有我是上帝，再沒有別的神；我是上帝，沒有誰像我一樣：

至聖者說：你們將誰來跟我相比，使他跟我一樣呢？

永恆主發神諭說：『你們就是我的見證、我的僕人、我所揀選的，好讓你們知道而信我，並且明白我就是獨一的那位；在我以前並沒有神被形成；我以後也必沒有。

牠不是極兇猛、以致無人敢惹牠麼？牠說：「這樣，有誰能在我面前站立得住呢？誰跟我對抗，我還須與他講和呢？普天之下、都屬於我呀。」

你們將誰來跟上帝相比呢？用甚麼形相來跟上帝並列呢？

告訴可拉和他一黨的人說：『到了早晨，永恆主就要使人知道誰是屬他的、誰是分別為聖的、就叫誰親近他；他揀選誰，就叫誰親近他。

他像獅子離開了叢藪，因為他們的地可驚駭的荒涼，是由於欺壓人者的刀劍，由於永恆主的烈怒。』

我激動一個人從北方而起，他就來，從日出之地而來，他就呼求我的名；他必踐踏掌權者像踏泥土，像窰匠踹淤泥一樣。

永恆主萬軍之上帝啊，誰能比得上你呢？你的堅愛你的可信可靠就在你四圍呢。

就是召鷙鳥從東方而來，召我計畫中的人從遠地而到。我已說出，我必實現；我已制定，我必作成。
