耶和華說：「耶路撒冷啊，我怎能赦免你呢？你的兒女背棄我，憑假神起誓。我供應他們的一切需要，他們卻縱情淫亂，湧向娼妓的家。

“我怎能赦免你呢？你的儿女离弃我，又指着那不是神的起誓。我使他们饱足，他们就行奸淫，成群地聚集在娼妓家里。

我怎能赦免你呢？你的儿女离弃我，又指着那不是上帝的起誓。我使他们饱足，他们就行奸淫，居住在娼妓家里。

我怎能赦免你呢？你的儿女离弃我，又指着那不是神的起誓。我使他们饱足，他们就行奸淫，居住在娼妓家里。

耶和华说：“耶路撒冷啊，我怎能赦免你呢？你的儿女背弃我，凭假神起誓。我供应他们的一切需要，他们却纵情淫乱，涌向娼妓的家。

“为什么我要赦免你？你的儿女离弃我，指着那些不是神的起誓。我使他们饱足，他们却去行淫，一起挤在妓院里。

我怎能赦免你呢？你的兒女離棄我，又指着那不是神的起誓。我使他們飽足，他們就行姦淫，居住在娼妓家裏。

“為甚麼我要赦免你？你的兒女離棄我，指著那些不是神的起誓。我使他們飽足，他們卻去行淫，一起擠在妓院裡。

『我怎能赦免你呢？你的兒女離棄了我，指着那不是神的來起誓。我使他們飽足，他們竟行姦淫，羣集在妓女家裏。

我何能宥爾哉、爾之子女棄我、指彼非神者而誓、我使之飽食、彼則行淫、羣集妓室、

耶和華曰、爾之赤子、我使之果腹、尚有背予者、指他上帝而發誓、集於娼妓之室、狥欲而行、我見此、豈能宥爾。

我豈能宥爾、爾子棄我、指虛神而誓、我雖使之發誓行正、我雖使之發誓行正或作我雖使之果腹彼仍行淫、群集於妓室、

“ Why should I forgive you? Your children have forsaken me and sworn by gods that are not gods. I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes.

The Lord says,“ Jerusalem, why should I forgive you? Your people have deserted me. They have made their promises in the names of gods that are not really gods at all. I supplied everything they needed. But they committed adultery. Large crowds went to the houses of prostitutes.

“ How can I pardon you? Your children have forsaken me and have sworn by those who are no gods. When I fed them to the full, they committed adultery and trooped to the houses of whores.

“ How can I pardon you? For even your children have turned from me. They have sworn by gods that are not gods at all! I fed my people until they were full. But they thanked me by committing adultery and lining up at the brothels.

Why should I forgive you? Your children have abandoned me and sworn by those who are not gods. I satisfied their needs, yet they committed adultery; they gashed themselves at the prostitute’s house.

“ Why should I forgive you? Your sons have forsaken Me And sworn by those who are not gods. When I had fed them to the full, They committed adultery And stayed at the prostitute’s house.

“ How shall I pardon you for this? Your children have forsaken Me And sworn by those that are not gods. When I had fed them to the full, Then they committed adultery And assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.

How can I pardon thee? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods. When I had fed them to the full, they committed adultery, and assembled themselves in troops at the harlots’ houses;

Why should I forgive you? Your children have abandoned Me and sworn by those who are not gods. I satisfied their needs, yet they committed adultery; they gashed themselves at the prostitute’s house.

How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by[ them that are] no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.

The LORD asked,“ How can I leave you unpunished, Jerusalem? Your people have rejected me and have worshiped gods that are not gods at all. Even though I supplied all their needs, they were like an unfaithful wife to me. They went flocking to the houses of prostitutes.

“ How can I pardon you? Your children have forsaken me, and sworn by what are no gods. When I had fed them to the full, they committed adultery, and assembled themselves in troops at the prostitutes’ houses.

不可與你們中間剩下的異族混雜，不可提他們的神明或憑它們起誓，不可供奉、祭拜他們的神明。

他們拜假神，讓我憤恨；供虛無之物，惹我發怒。我要藉無名之民挑起他們的嫉妒，用愚昧的國民激起他們的怒氣。

從前，你們不認識上帝，做那些假神的奴隸。

我必剷除那些在屋頂祭拜天上萬象的人，剷除敬拜我、憑我起誓又憑米勒公起誓的人，

雖然列國的神明根本不是真神，卻沒有一國更換自己的神明。但我的子民卻把自己榮耀的上帝換作了無用的假神。

「但耶書崙吃飽喝足，養肥長壯後，就得意忘形，背棄造他們的上帝，藐視救他們的磐石。

這裡到處是拜偶像的人，他們行為邪惡，濫用權力。大地因受咒詛而悲哀，曠野的草場都枯乾了。

你們這些對主不忠的人啊，難道還不明白與世俗為友就是與上帝爲敵嗎？所以，凡是與世俗為友的，都是上帝的敵人。

論到吃獻給偶像的祭物，我們知道世上的偶像算不得什麼，只有一位上帝，此外別無他神。

如果他們真心接受我子民的信仰，憑永活的耶和華之名起誓，正如他們教導我子民向巴力起誓一樣，他們便能成為我的子民。

他們在山頂和高崗上的橡樹、楊樹和栗樹下獻祭燒香，因為樹蔭怡人。「所以，你們的女兒賣淫，你們的兒媳通姦。但我不會因此而懲罰她們，因為你們也與娼妓苟合，與廟妓一起獻祭。無知的民族必走向滅亡。「雖然以色列如同妓女，對我不忠，但不要使猶大犯罪。不要到吉甲去，不要到伯·亞文去，不要憑永活的耶和華起誓。

「耶路撒冷啊！耶路撒冷啊！你常殺害先知，又用石頭打死派到你那裡的使者。我多次想要招聚你的兒女，像母雞將小雞聚集在翅膀底下，可是你們卻不肯。看啊！你們的家園將一片荒涼。

以法蓮啊，我怎能捨棄你？以色列啊，我怎能棄絕你？我怎能使你的下場如押瑪？我怎能對待你如對待洗扁？我的心意改變，我滿懷憐愛。

你們這些富有的人啊！為那將要臨到你們身上的災難痛哭哀號吧！你們的財物朽壞了，衣服也被蟲蛀了。你們的金銀生了鏽，那鏽必要指控你們，像火一樣吞噬你們的身體。在末世的日子裡，你們只知道積攢財寶。工人替你們收割莊稼，你們卻剋扣他們的工錢。那工錢發出不平的呼喊，工人的冤聲已經傳到萬軍之主的耳中了。你們在世上奢侈享樂，在被宰殺的日子裡，把自己養得肥肥胖胖。

他們都是通姦之徒，就像熱烘烘的烤爐，從揉麵到麵團發起，烤餅的人不用挑爐火。

那些憑撒瑪利亞、但和別示巴的神明起誓的，都要跌倒，永不再起來。」

你見了盜賊就與他同流合污，又喜歡與淫亂的人交往。

有人與鄰居的妻子幹出可憎之事，有人玷污自己的兒媳婦，有人姦污自己的同父姊妹。

如果有人與別人的妻子通姦，姦夫淫婦必須被處死。

這世代的人啊，要留心聽耶和華的話。對以色列人來說，難道我是曠野，是幽暗之地嗎？為什麼我的子民竟說，『我們可以四處遊蕩，不再追隨你』？

被擄到巴比倫的猶大人咒詛人的時候會說，「願耶和華使你的下場像被巴比倫王燒死的西底迦和亞哈一樣！」因為他們二人在以色列做了惡事，與他人的妻子通姦。我沒有差派他們，他們卻奉我的名說假預言。我知道他們的所作所為，我對這一切瞭若指掌。』這是耶和華說的。」

以色列人駐紮在什亭期間，有些人與摩押女子行淫。那些女子邀他們參加祭祀，他們吃了祭物，並跪拜她們的神明，結果使以色列與巴力·毗珥苟合。耶和華大怒，

你們豈不知道不義的人不能承受上帝的國嗎？不要自欺，一切淫亂的、拜偶像的、通姦的、變態的、同性戀的、

真希望我在曠野有棲身之處，以便遠離我的同胞，因為他們是一群不忠不貞之徒。

但你們吃得飽足以後，就心高氣傲，忘記了我。

你在山上和田野間拜偶像，像無恥的婦人與情郎苟合，發出淫語浪聲。這些可憎之事，我都看見了。耶路撒冷啊，你有禍了！你什麼時候才肯自潔呢？」

我曾想，我多麼願意把你們當成我的兒女，賜給你們萬國中最肥美的土地。我原以為你們會叫我『父親』，再不離棄我。

他們咒詛、撒謊、兇殺、偷竊、通姦，為所欲為，血案纍纍。

看啊，你妹妹所多瑪和她的女兒們傲慢狂妄，安逸飽足，對窮困的人漠不關心。她們心驕氣傲，在我面前做可憎的事，我看見後便除掉了她們。

萬軍之耶和華說：「我要來到你們當中施行審判，速速作證指控那些行邪術的、通姦的、起假誓的、克扣工人薪水的、欺壓寡婦孤兒的、冤枉異鄉人的，以及不敬畏我的。

人人都要尊重婚姻，不可玷污夫妻關係，因為上帝必審判淫亂和通姦的人。
