吾督責爾赤子、仍不受教、使我徒勞、惟爾手刃先知、若猛獅吞噬。

耶和華遍覽天下、見誠心從之者、則力庇焉。爾弗以之是賴、不智孰甚、嗣後戰鬥、靡有已時。

故當切指之曰、斯民不聽其上帝耶和華之命、不受訓誨、不言真實、

我告斯民曰、爾當寅畏我躬、承我教誨、則不降罰、絶爾居所、然爾惟惡是作、靡有已時、

耶和華為萬有之主、屢擊斯民、尚不知悛改、以求施恩、

惟以色列族、剛愎性成、不聽我命、不從爾言。我使爾容甚剛、顙甚堅、與彼無異、我使爾額堅剛、過於鐵石、彼悖逆之流、毋庸懼之、勿畏其威。

我邑之民、悖逆上主、暴虐同儔、自染於惡、禍必不遠、彼不從命令、不順誨言、彼之上帝耶和華、不是賴是求、

耶和華其位在天兮、居彼聖所、鑒察人民兮、為義之人、蒙其眷顧兮、刁惡強悍之徒、為其所惡兮、電光閃兮硫火降、災飆發兮報施不爽、耶和華無不義兮、秉大公、俯念兮善氓。

惟彼不從、強項難馴、掩耳不聽、剛愎厥心、同於鐵石、不聽法度、我耶和華、以我神感古先知、遣之告眾、惟彼不聽、故我萬有之主耶和華、震怒特甚。

抑藐視其鴻慈、寛容、恆忍、不知上帝之仁愛、導爾悔改乎、乃爾剛愎、罔有悛心、積愆干怒、待上帝震怒、義鞫顯日、

惡者剛愎厥心、善者慎思所行。

爾不傾耳以聽、仍強厥項、較祖尤甚。

我知爾剛愎性成、鐵項銅額、

扑責愚人、如擣麥於臼、亦不能去其愚、

萬有之主以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、斯邑及四周之民、強項不從我言、故所言之災、必降其身。

患難之際、亞哈士王愈犯耶和華、

爾既屢犯、我將加罰、奈身首俱傷、肝膽皆裂、當擊何處。自頂至踵、一身不痊、遍體傷痍、未彌其隙、未裹以巾、未沐以膏。

生我身之父責我、而我敬之、況賦我神之父、豈不當誠服以得永生乎、

夫人而行此、我知上帝必循真理鞫之、

勿自謂受擊而不傷、醉為無害、醒而再飲。

邑民行淫、至於污衊、我欲滌之、不肯成潔、故依然染污、待予降災、以雪我忿、

故我震怒、俾遇戰鬥、使烈燄騰空、遍及四周、彼目不欲睹、不以為意。

耶和華守道者祐之、妄言者敗之。

主之經綸、奇而難名、主之智慧、大而莫測、鑒察斯人、視其所為、而加賞罰。

中心真實、爾所悅懌、予求於爾、以智慧畀我衷曲兮。
