不可欺壓寡婦、孤兒、寄居的和困苦的人。誰都不可心裏謀害弟兄。

你的官長悖逆，與盜賊為伍，全都喜愛賄賂，追求贓物；他們不為孤兒伸冤，寡婦的案件也呈不到他們面前。

「耶書崙漸漸肥胖，能踼跳。你長得肥胖，粗壯，豐潤。他離棄造他的上帝，輕看救他的磐石。

看哪，這就是惡人，他們常享安逸，財寶增多。

不欺壓寄居的和孤兒寡婦，不在這地方流無辜人的血，也不隨從別神陷害自己，

「你們這些撒瑪利亞山上的巴珊母牛啊，當聽這話！你們欺負貧寒人，壓碎貧窮人，對主人說：『拿酒來，我們喝吧！』

耶和華啊，我與你爭辯的時候，你總是顯為義；但有一件，我還要與你理論：惡人的道路為何亨通呢？大行詭詐的為何得安逸呢？

強盜的帳棚安寧，惹上帝發怒的人穩固，他們把上帝握在自己手中。

工人給你們收割莊稼，你們剋扣他們的工錢；這工錢在喊冤，而且收割工人的冤聲已經進入萬軍之主的耳朵了。你們在地上享奢華宴樂，把自己養肥了，等候宰殺的日子。

你不只效法她們的行為，照她們可憎的事去做，不消多時，你所做的一切就比她們更惡。主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，你的妹妹所多瑪與她的女兒們並未做你和你女兒們所做的事。看哪，你的妹妹所多瑪的罪孽是這樣：她和她的女兒們都驕傲，糧源充足，大享安逸，卻不扶持困苦和貧窮人的手。她們狂傲，在我面前做可憎的事，我看見了就把她們除掉。撒瑪利亞所犯的罪不及你的一半，你所做可憎的事比她更多；比起你所做這一切可憎的事，你的姊妹倒顯為義。你既為你的姊妹辯護，就要擔當自己的羞辱。因你所犯的罪比她們更可憎，她們比你倒顯為義；你既使你的姊妹顯為義，就要抱愧，擔當自己的羞辱。」

你們審判不秉公義，抬舉惡人的臉面，要到幾時呢？（細拉）當為貧寒的人和孤兒伸冤，為困苦和窮乏的人施行公義。當保護貧寒和貧窮的人，救他們脫離惡人的手。

我確實聽說在你們中間有淫亂的事；這種淫亂連外邦人中也沒有，就是有人和他的繼母同居。

他們的心蒙昧如蒙油脂，我卻喜愛你的律法。

有人至死身體強壯，盡得平順安逸；他的肚腹充滿奶汁，他的骨髓滋潤。

「你竟然如此精於求愛之道，可把你的門徑教邪惡的女人！

又因他的臉蒙上油脂，腰上積滿肥肉。他住在荒涼的城鎮，房屋無人居住，成為廢墟。

因我拯救了哀求的困苦人和無人幫助的孤兒。將要滅亡的為我祝福，我使寡婦心中歡呼。我穿上公義，它遮蔽我；我的公平如外袍和冠冕。

難道你作王就是要蓋香柏木樓房爭勝的嗎？你的父親豈不是也吃也喝，也施行公平和公義嗎？那時他得了福樂。他為困苦和貧窮的人伸冤，那時就得了福樂。認識我不就在此嗎？這是耶和華說的。你的眼和你的心卻專顧不義之財，流無辜人的血，行欺壓和殘暴。所以，耶和華論到約西亞的兒子猶大王約雅敬如此說：人必不為他舉哀：「哀哉，我的哥哥！哀哉，我的姊姊！」也不為他舉哀：「哀哉，我的主！哀哉，我主的榮華！」他被埋葬好像埋驢子一樣，被拖出去，扔在耶路撒冷城門外。

所以，驕傲如鏈子戴在他們項上，殘暴像衣裳覆蓋在他們身上。他們的眼睛因體胖而凸出，他們的內心放任不羈。

耶路撒冷行惡，違背我的典章，過於列國；干犯我的律例，過於四圍的列邦。它棄絕我的典章，也沒有遵行我的律例。所以主耶和華如此說：因為你們混亂，過於四圍的列國，不遵行我的律例，不順從我的典章，甚至也不順從四圍列國的規條，

他必為百姓中困苦的人伸冤，拯救貧窮之輩，壓碎那欺壓人的人。
