籠內怎樣滿了雀鳥，他們屋裏也怎樣充滿着詭詐所捉着的；因此他們成了昌大富裕的人。

籠充以禽鳥、其室亦充以詭詐、因而昌盛富有、

籠之有鳥、以誘飛禽、斯民中藏偽詐、以致巨富、亦若是。

其室中充以詐得之財、若籠之充以鳥、因而強盛富有、

Like cages full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; they have become rich and powerful

A hunter uses tricks to fill his cage with birds. And my people have filled their houses with a lot of goods. They have become rich and powerful.

Like a cage full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; therefore they have become great and rich;

Like a cage filled with birds, their homes are filled with evil plots. And now they are great and rich.

Like a cage full of birds, so their houses are full of deceit. Therefore they have grown powerful and rich.

Like a cage filled with the birds that have been caught, their houses are filled with the gains of their fraud and deceit. That is how they have gotten so rich and powerful.

惡人家中不是仍有不義之財和惹人生氣的變小了的伊法嗎？我若用不公道的天平和袋中詭詐的法碼，豈可算為清白呢？

你居住在詭詐的人中；他們因行詭詐，不願意認識我。這是耶和華說的。

禍哉！那為本家積蓄不義之財、在高處搭窩、指望得免災禍的人！你圖謀剪除許多民族，犯了罪，使自己的家蒙羞，自害己命。牆裏的石頭要呼叫，屋內的棟梁必應聲。

他們若說：「你與我們同去，我們要埋伏殺人流血，無故地潛藏，殺害無辜；我們好像陰間，把他們活活吞下，囫圇吞下，如吞下那下到地府的人；我們必得各樣寶物，將所奪來的裝滿房屋；

他以強而有力的聲音喊着說：「傾覆了！大巴比倫傾覆了！她成了鬼魔的住處，各樣污穢之靈的巢穴，各樣污穢之鳥的窩，各樣污穢可憎之獸的出沒處。

商人手持詭詐的天平，喜愛欺壓。以法蓮說：我果然富有，得了財寶；我所勞碌得來的一切，人必找不到我有甚麼可算為有罪的惡。

你們這些踐踏貧窮人、使這地困苦人衰敗的，當聽這話！你們說：「初一幾時過去，我們好賣糧；安息日幾時過去，我們好擺開穀物；我們要把伊法變小，把舍客勒變大，以詭詐的天平欺哄人，用銀子買貧寒人，以一雙鞋換貧窮人，把壞的穀物賣給人。」

瑪律的居民心甚憂急，切望得着福氣，因為災禍已從耶和華那裏臨到耶路撒冷的城門。
