Like cages full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; they have become rich and powerful

A hunter uses tricks to fill his cage with birds. And my people have filled their houses with a lot of goods. They have become rich and powerful.

Like a cage full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; therefore they have become great and rich;

Like a cage filled with birds, their homes are filled with evil plots. And now they are great and rich.

Like a cage full of birds, so their houses are full of deceit. Therefore they have grown powerful and rich.

我怎能忘记恶人家中的不义之财，和那些可咒诅的小升斗呢？用不义的天平，和袋中诈骗的法码的人，我怎能算他为清洁呢？

欺凌加上欺凌，诡诈加上诡诈（按照《马索拉文本》，“欺凌加上欺凌，诡诈加上诡诈”作“你的住所在诡诈中；在诡诈里”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译），他们不肯认识我。”这是耶和华的宣告。

你这为自己的家积聚不义之财，在高处搭窝，以逃避灾害的，有祸了！你剪除多国的民，反害了自己；你所谋算的，使你的家蒙羞。石头必从墙里呼叫，梁木必在树中应声。

如果他们说：“你跟我们来吧！我们要埋伏流人的血，我们要无故地潜伏伤害无辜的人；我们要好像阴间一般，把他们活生生吞下，他们整个被我们吞下，如同下坑的人一样；这样，我们必得着各样贵重的财物，把掠物装满我们的房子。

他用强有力的声音呼喊说：“倾倒了！大巴比伦倾倒了！成了鬼魔的住处，各样污灵的监狱，一切污秽可憎之雀鸟的牢笼，

以色列是个商人，手里拿着诡诈的天平，喜爱欺压别人。以法莲说：“我成了富翁，我为自己发了财；在我所有的收益中，人不能找出我有什么罪孽，可算为罪恶的。”

践踏穷乏人又除掉国中困苦人的，你们要听这话。你们说：“月朔什么时候过去，好让我们可以卖五谷；安息日什么时候结束，好让我们可以开市卖谷物。我们卖东西就把升斗弄小，收银子却用加重了的法码，我们要用假秤欺骗人。我们用银子买穷人，用一双鞋换取穷乏人；连麦碎也卖掉。”

玛律的居民，急待得着幸福，因有灾祸从耶和华那里降下，临到耶路撒冷的城门。
