People of Israel,” declares the Lord,“ I am bringing a distant nation against you— an ancient and enduring nation, a people whose language you do not know, whose speech you do not understand.

耶和華必使遠民、如鷹之飛、來自地極、以攻擊爾、其言爾不之識、

當傳示列邦、宣告耶路撒冷曰、圍攻者來自遠方、大聲呼於猶大諸邑、

耶和華將以異脣異舌、語於斯民、

彼將建纛、以招遠邦、自地極而號召之、則疾趨而至、

我必召北方諸邦諸族咸至、各設其座於耶路撒冷邑門之場、環攻城垣、暨猶大諸邑、耶和華言之矣、

強悍之民、辭旨深邃、爾所不明、鴃舌之語、爾所不通、不復見之、

我必遣召北方諸族、及我僕巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、導之以攻斯土、與其居民、暨四周諸國、我必滅之、使之令人駭異、為人嗤笑、永久荒蕪、耶和華言之矣、

王歟、爾為諸王之王、天上上帝以國以權、以能以榮賜爾、凡有居民之處、野獸飛鳥、悉付爾手、俾爾治之、金首即爾也、

即埃及、猶大、以東、亞捫族、摩押、及凡薙鬚鬢、居曠野者、蓋列邦俱未受割、以色列家、中心亦未受割也、

盜見獲則愧恥、以色列家、與其君王牧伯、祭司先知、愧恥亦若是、

爾其觀於列邦、甚為駭異、當爾之日、我行一事、人雖告爾、爾不之信、我將興起迦勒底人是乃殘酷暴躁之邦、徧行大地、據非己之居所、彼矜嚴可畏、使威行鞫、悉由於己、其馬疾於豹、猛於暮出之狼、騎兵奔騰、來自遠方、疾飛如急食之鷹、彼之來也、為行強暴、奮勇直前、聚厥俘虜、如沙之多、藐視君王、姍笑牧伯、譏嘲保障、築壘而下之、

夫萬軍耶和華之葡萄園、即以色列家、其所悅之樹、乃猶大人也、冀其公、反見暴虐、冀其義、反有哀號、○

耶和華曰、以色列家與猶大家、待我詭詐維甚、

萬軍之耶和華、將以霹靂、地震轟聲、旋風狂飇、焚燬之火臨之、

律載云、主曰、我以異邦之言、遠人之口諭斯民、亦不我聽、

此後於夜間異象中、我見其四之獸、可畏可懼、極強有力、亦有鐵牙甚巨、吞噬碎裂、足踐所餘、與前諸獸迥異、首有十角、

耶和華曰、有一族自北方而來、有大國自地極而興、

我將立營圍爾、築壘困爾、建臺攻爾、

以色列家歟、當棄所犯之罪、新爾心神、奚自取死、

勿自謂、我有亞伯拉罕為父也、我語汝、上帝能由此石興起亞伯拉罕之子孫焉、今斧置樹根、凡不結善果者、則斫之、委於火、
