Look, I am about to bring terror on you— this is the declaration of the Lord GOD of Armies— from all those around you. You will be banished, each person headlong, with no one to gather up the fugitives.

I made their widows more numerous than the sand of the seas. I brought a destroyer at noon against the mother of young men. I suddenly released on her agitation and terrors.

The towns have been captured, and the strongholds seized. for the Lord had caused the Aramean camp to hear the sound of chariots, horses, and a large army. The camp was intact, and they had fled for their lives.

The wicked flee when no one is pursuing them, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

Do not gloat over your brother in the day of his calamity; do not rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction; do not boastfully mock in the day of distress.Do not enter my people’s city gate in the day of their disaster.
