敵至以掃、盡窺其所藏、悉取其所有、子孫戚屬、以及比鄰、俱被攘奪、歸於烏有、我使之然。

我必露以掃、露其密處、以致不能藏匿、其子孫兄弟、以及鄰里、俱必滅亡、歸於無有、

But I will strip Esau bare; I will uncover his hiding places, so that he cannot conceal himself. His armed men are destroyed, also his allies and neighbors, so there is no one to say,

But I will strip everything away from Esau’s people. I will uncover their hiding places. They will not be able to hide anywhere. Their army is destroyed. Their friends and neighbors are destroyed. So there is no one to say,

But I have stripped Esau bare; I have uncovered his hiding places, and he is not able to conceal himself. His children are destroyed, and his brothers, and his neighbors; and he is no more.

But I will strip bare the land of Edom, and there will be no place left to hide. Its children, its brothers, and its neighbors will all be destroyed, and Edom itself will be no more.

But I will strip Esau bare; I will uncover his secret places. He will try to hide, but he will be unable. His descendants will be destroyed along with his relatives and neighbors. He will exist no longer.

他们晚上令人恐惧，早晨已无影无踪。这就是掳掠我们之人的下场，抢夺我们之人的报应。

厌恶以扫。我使以扫的山岭荒凉，把他的地业留给旷野的豺狼。”也许以扫的后代以东人会说：“我们现在虽然被毁，但我们要重建毁坏之处。”万军之耶和华却这样说：“他们尽管建造，但我必拆毁。他们的土地要被称为‘罪恶之地’，他们要被称为‘耶和华永远恼怒之民。’”

正如圣经上说：“我爱雅各，厌恶以扫。”

因为耶和华喜爱正义，不丢弃信靠祂的人，永远保护他们。恶人的后代必被铲除。

我见过邪恶残暴之人，乍看如葱茏的黎巴嫩香柏树，再一看，他已经消失得无影无踪，无处可寻。

提幔的勇士必惊慌失措，以扫山上的人尽遭杀戮。

即使他们藏在迦密山的峰顶，我也要去搜寻，捉住他们；即使他们潜到海底，我也要派海蛇去吞咬他们；

你必得不到君王的葬礼，因为你祸国殃民，杀害自己的百姓。“恶人的子孙必永远被遗忘。预备杀戮他的子孙吧，因为他们的祖先罪恶深重，免得他们兴起统治世界、到处建造城邑。”万军之耶和华说：“我必攻击巴比伦，铲除巴比伦的名号、余民和后裔。这是耶和华说的。

耶和华说：“难道人藏起来我就看不见了吗？我岂不是充满天地之间吗？这是耶和华说的。

我要把隐藏的宝物和秘密收藏的财富赐给你，好叫你知道点名呼召你的是我——以色列的上帝耶和华。
