仇敵說：‘我要追趕，我要追上，我要均分擄物；我要在他們身上得到滿足；我要拔出刀來，親手趕絕他們。’你用風一吹，海就把他們淹沒，他們就像鉛一樣沉在大水之中。

你藉著你的臣僕辱罵主；你又說：我率領我眾多的戰車上了群山的高峰，到了黎巴嫩極深之處。我砍伐其中高大的香柏樹和佳美的松樹；我去到極高之處，進入肥田般的樹林。我挖井和喝水；我用我的腳掌踏乾埃及的河流。’耶和華說：‘難道你沒有聽見古時我所安排，往昔所計劃的嗎？現在我才使它成就，使堅固的城鎮荒廢，變作亂堆。

“人子啊！你要為埃及王法老作一首哀歌，對他說：‘你像列國中的少壯獅子，又像海中的海怪，你在河中翻騰，用你的爪攪動河水，使江河渾濁。

你要說：‘主耶和華這樣說：埃及王法老啊！我要與你為敵，你這臥在自己河中的大海怪，你曾經說過：“這河是我的，是我自己造的。”
