The Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ Behold, I am going to punish Amon of Thebes, and Pharaoh, and Egypt along with her gods and her kings, indeed, Pharaoh and those who trust in him.

萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝說：『看吧，我必察罰挪的亞捫神跟法老和埃及、以及埃及的神和她的王、跟法老和倚靠法老的人。

萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、我必罰挪之亞捫暨法老、埃及與其諸神諸王、及凡恃法老者、

萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、我必罰埃及之挪亞門、毀其上帝之像、誅王公法老、與凡恃法老之勢者、

萬有之主以色列之天主曰、我必罰挪之亞們亞們即伊及群神之一伊及人尊為大神及法老、罰伊及與其諸神君王、罰法老與凡倚賴法老之人、

The Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says:“ I am about to bring punishment on Amon god of Thebes, on Pharaoh, on Egypt and her gods and her kings, and on those who rely on Pharaoh.

The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,“ I am about to punish Amon, the god of Thebes. I will also punish Pharaoh. I will punish Egypt and its gods and kings. And I will punish those who depend on Pharaoh.

The Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, said:“ Behold, I am bringing punishment upon Amon of Thebes, and Pharaoh and Egypt and her gods and her kings, upon Pharaoh and those who trust in him.

The Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ I will punish Amon, the god of Thebes, and all the other gods of Egypt. I will punish its rulers and Pharaoh, too, and all who trust in him.

The LORD God of Israel who rules over all says,“ I will punish Amon, the god of Thebes. I will punish Egypt, its gods, and its kings. I will punish Pharaoh and all who trust in him.

Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says:“ Behold, I will punish Amon of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with her gods, and her kings; even Pharaoh, and those who trust in him.

And I shall set fire to the temples of the gods of Egypt, and he will burn them and take them captive. So he will wrap himself with the land of Egypt as a shepherd wraps himself with his garment, and he will depart from there safely.He will also smash to pieces the obelisks of Heliopolis, which is in the land of Egypt; and the temples of the gods of Egypt he will burn with fire.” ’ ”

The Lord will be terrifying to them, for He will starve all the gods of the earth; and all the coastlands of the nations will bow down to Him, everyone from his own place.

For I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and fatally strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the human firstborn to animals; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments— I am the Lord.

Then they will be terrified and ashamed because of Cush their hope and Egypt their pride.So the inhabitants of this coastland will say on that day,‘ Behold, such is our hope, where we fled for help to be saved from the king of Assyria; and how are we ourselves to escape?’ ”

saying,“ No, but we will go to the land of Egypt, where we will not see war, or hear the sound of a trumpet, or hunger for bread, and we will stay there”;then in that case listen to the word of the Lord, you remnant of Judah. This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:“ If you really set your minds to enter Egypt and go in to reside there,then the sword, of which you are afraid, will overtake you there in the land of Egypt; and the famine, about which you are anxious, will follow closely after you there in Egypt, and you will die there.

Are you better than No amon, Which was situated by the canals of the Nile, With water surrounding her, Whose rampart was the sea, Whose wall consisted of the sea?Ethiopia was her might, Egypt too, without limits. Put and Lubim were among her helpers.

“ And I will send fire upon Magog and those who inhabit the coastlands in safety; and they will know that I am the Lord.“ And I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not allow My holy name to be profaned anymore. But the nations will know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.

“ I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples when I bring your destruction among the nations, into lands which you have not known.And I will make many peoples appalled at you, and their kings will be horribly afraid of you when I brandish My sword before them; and they will tremble again and again, every person for his own life, on the day of your fall.”For the Lord God says this:“ The sword of the king of Babylon will attack you.By the swords of the warriors I will make your multitude fall; all of them are tyrants of the nations, And they will devastate the pride of Egypt, And all its multitude will be destroyed.

Who proceed down to Egypt Without consulting Me, To take refuge in the safety of Pharaoh, And to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt!Therefore the safety of Pharaoh will be your shame, And the shelter in the shadow of Egypt, your humiliation.

‘ This is what the Lord God says:“ I will also destroy the idols And make the images cease from Memphis. And there will no longer be a prince in the land of Egypt; And I will put fear in the land of Egypt.I will make Pathros desolate, Set a fire in Zoan And execute judgments on Thebes.I will pour out My wrath on Sin, The stronghold of Egypt; I will also eliminate the hordes of Thebes.I will set a fire in Egypt; Sin will writhe in anguish, Thebes will be breached And Memphis will have distresses daily.

The pronouncement concerning Egypt: Behold, the Lord is riding on a swift cloud and is about to come to Egypt; The idols of Egypt will tremble at His presence, And the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them.

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help And rely on horses, And trust in chariots because they are many And in horsemen because they are very strong, But they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, nor seek the Lord!Yet He also is wise and will bring disaster, And does not retract His words, But will arise against the house of evildoers, And against the help of the workers of injustice.Now the Egyptians are human and not God, And their horses are flesh and not spirit; So the Lord will stretch out His hand, And any helper will stumble, And one who is helped will fall. And all of them will come to an end together.

This is what the Lord says:“ Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind And makes flesh his strength, And whose heart turns away from the Lord.For he will be like a bush in the desert, And will not see when prosperity comes, But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, A land of salt that is not inhabited.
