“ Announce this in Egypt, and proclaim it in Migdol; proclaim it also in Memphis and Tahpanhes:‘ Take your positions and get ready, for the sword devours those around you.’

“ Egyptians, here is what I want you to announce in your land. Announce it in the city of Migdol. Also announce it in Memphis and Tahpanhes. Say,‘ Take up your battle positions! Get ready! The sword eats up those around you.’

“ Declare in Egypt, and proclaim in Migdol; proclaim in Memphis and Tahpanhes; say,‘ Stand ready and be prepared, for the sword shall devour around you.’

“ Shout it out in Egypt! Publish it in the cities of Migdol, Memphis, and Tahpanhes! Mobilize for battle, for the sword will devour everyone around you.

先知曰、今日萬有之主耶和華降災於敵、雪其夙忿、使之被戮於鋒刃、飲血若醉、蓋萬有之主耶和華在於北方、百辣河濱、大行誅殛。

有猶大人居於埃及之蜜奪、答比匿、挪弗諸邑、八羅四境、耶利米奉萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華命、告之曰、我降災於耶路撒冷、猶大諸邑、今日彼地荒蕪、無人居處、爾所目睹。

如爾悖逆、必亡以刃、我耶和華已言之矣。

干戈森列、臨陣戰鬥、駕馬列騎、戴冑而立、礪戈矛、著戎衣。

耶利米在答比匿時、耶和華諭之曰、在答比匿邑、法老宮前、有陶瓦之所、爾以大石藏之於土、使猶大人目睹、

我萬有之主耶和華、必攻斯邑、燬厥車騎、俱成烟燄、殺戮穉獅、不許得物於斯土、其聲名泯沒無聞。

吾督責爾赤子、仍不受教、使我徒勞、惟爾手刃先知、若猛獅吞噬。

當告異邦之人曰、興干戈、募猛士、使武夫麕至、以犂為刀、以鐮為戈、弱者自強、異邦之人、無不和會、其至甚速、耶和華之武士、亦必涖臨、異邦人當儆醒、至約沙法谷、在彼我坐堂皇、以鞫億兆、

禍自北至、毀傷特甚、爾便雅憫子孫、宜和集、出耶路撒冷、在提哥亞吹角、在伯哈西林舉烽火、郇邑雖美、甚有容儀、我命翦滅。牧羊之民、驅群畜至、郇邑四周張幕、隨意嚙蒭。敵曰、興戎攻城、勿過日午、如待日昃、薄暮將至、行路尤難。既至則曰、當夤夜攻城、毀其殿宇。

押尼耳呼約押曰、以刃擊人、何久不已、豈不知、及其終也、必有困苦。民追同儔、爾不止之、將至何時。

我耶和華之刀、飲血食膏、有若羔羊山羊之血、牡綿羊之膋、蓋我於破斯喇、以東地、大行誅殛、如屠牲畜、

又必火焚埃及、使汛民哀痛、挪必毀裂、挪弗日遭困苦、亞文、比伯實之壯士必亡於刃、邑民被擄、我必使答比匿變為晦冥、昔埃及之人、使他邦眾庶臣服奔走、故我折其軛、使變光華為黯淡、若雲蔽覆、且使女子被擄、

告以色列族、必反比哈希緑境、宜於蜜奪與海接壤之巴力洗分前、瀕海張幕。

曠野童山、寇賊已至、遍於四境、民罹鋒刃、被吞噬、不享綏安、我使之然。
