The nations will hear of your shame; your cries will fill the earth. One warrior will stumble over another; both will fall down together.”

你能胜过挪亚们吗？它坐落在众河之间，周围有水，海作它的城郭，海作它的城墙。古实和埃及是它的力量，没有穷尽，弗人和路比人是它的帮手。但它被流放，被人掳去，它的婴孩也被摔碎在各街头；人为它的贵族抽签，它的权贵都被锁链锁住。

“犹大悲哀，城门衰败；众人坐在地上哀恸，耶路撒冷的哀声上达。

不要容快跑的逃避，也不要容勇士逃脱；在北方幼发拉底河边，他们绊跌仆倒。

“我使你在列国，在你所不认识的列邦中灭亡。那时，我必使许多民族的心因你愁烦。当我在他们面前举起我的刀，我要使许多民族因你惊恐，他们的君王也必因你极其恐慌。在你仆倒的日子，他们各人为自己的性命时时战兢。主耶和华如此说：巴比伦王的刀必临到你。我必藉勇士的刀使你的军队仆倒；这些勇士都是列国中凶暴的人。他们必使埃及的骄傲归于无有，埃及的军队必被灭绝。

“当那日，从鱼门必发出悲哀的声音，从第二城区发出哀号的声音，从山间发出破裂的大响声。这是耶和华说的。

他们只得屈身在被掳的人之下，仆倒在被杀的人中间。虽然如此，耶和华的怒气并未转消；他的手依然伸出。

没有死的人都受痔疮的折磨。城里的哀声上达于天。

有哀号的声音从巴比伦出来，有大毁灭从迦勒底人之地而来。

我的心为摩押哀号；它的难民逃到琐珥，逃到伊基拉‧施利施亚。他们上鲁希坡，随走随哭，在何罗念的路上，因毁灭发出哀声。宁林的水干涸，青草枯干，嫩草死光，青绿之物，一无所有。因此，摩押人所得的财物和积蓄都要运过柳树河。哀声遍传摩押四境，哀号的声音达到以基莲，哀号的声音远及比珥‧以琳。

因他们仆倒的声音，地就震动，哀号的声音传到红海那里。
