Those who escape the sword and return to the land of Judah from Egypt will be very few. Then the whole remnant of Judah who came to live in Egypt will know whose word will stand— mine or theirs.

Some will not be killed. They will return to Judah from Egypt. But they will be very few. Then all the people of Judah who came to live in Egypt will know the truth. They will know whether what I say or what they say will come true.

And those who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah, few in number; and all the remnant of Judah, who came to the land of Egypt to live, shall know whose word will stand, mine or theirs.

Only a small number will escape death and return to Judah from Egypt. Then all those who came to Egypt will find out whose words are true— mine or theirs!

甚至那進入埃及地寄居的，就是所剩下的猶大人，都不得逃脫，也不得存留歸回猶大地。他們心中甚想歸回居住之地；除了逃脫的以外，一個都不能歸回。」

他林中剩下的樹必稀少，就是孩子也能寫其數。

萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你們和你們的妻都口中說、手裏做，說：『我們定要償還所許的願，向天后燒香、澆奠祭。』現在你們只管堅定所許的願而償還吧！所以你們住在埃及地的一切猶大人當聽耶和華的話。耶和華說：我指着我的大名起誓，在埃及全地，我的名不再被猶大一個人的口稱呼說：『我指着主－永生的耶和華起誓。』

只是我的言語和律例，就是所吩咐我僕人眾先知的，豈不臨到你們列祖嗎？他們就回頭，說：『萬軍之耶和華定意按我們的行動作為向我們怎樣行，他已照樣行了。』」

我從起初指明末後的事，從古時言明未成的事，說：我的籌算必立定；凡我所喜悅的，我必成就。我召鷙鳥從東方來，召那成就我籌算的人從遠方來。我已說出，也必成就；我已謀定，也必做成。

耶和華的籌算永遠立定；他心中的思念萬代常存。

以色列人哪，到那日，耶和華必從大河，直到埃及小河，將你們一一地收集，如同人打樹拾果一樣。當那日，必大發角聲，在亞述地將要滅亡的，並在埃及地被趕散的，都要來，他們就在耶路撒冷聖山上敬拜耶和華。

萬軍之耶和華起誓說：我怎樣思想，必照樣成就；我怎樣定意，必照樣成立，就是在我地上打折亞述人，在我山上將他踐踏。他加的軛必離開以色列人；他加的重擔必離開他們的肩頭。這是向全地所定的旨意；這是向萬國所伸出的手。萬軍之耶和華既然定意，誰能廢棄呢？他的手已經伸出，誰能轉回呢？

天地要廢去，我的話卻不能廢去。」

「論到你奉耶和華的名向我們所說的話，我們必不聽從。我們定要成就我們口中所出的一切話，向天后燒香、澆奠祭，按着我們與我們列祖、君王、首領在猶大的城邑中和耶路撒冷的街市上素常所行的一樣；因為那時我們吃飽飯、享福樂，並不見災禍。

以色列啊，你的百姓雖多如海沙，惟有剩下的歸回。原來滅絕的事已定，必有公義施行，如水漲溢。

除非主命定，誰能說成就成呢？禍福不都出於至高者的口嗎？

摩西說：「你們為何違背耶和華的命令呢？這事不能順利了。

你們告訴他們，耶和華說：『我指着我的永生起誓，我必要照你們達到我耳中的話待你們。你們的屍首必倒在這曠野，並且你們中間凡被數點、從二十歲以外、向我發怨言的，

所以，主耶和華如此說：看哪，我在錫安放一塊石頭作為根基，是試驗過的石頭，是穩固根基，寶貴的房角石；信靠的人必不着急。我必以公平為準繩，以公義為線鉈。冰雹必沖去謊言的避所；大水必漫過藏身之處。你們與死亡所立的約必然廢掉，與陰間所結的盟必立不住。敵軍如水漲漫經過的時候，你們必被他踐踏；

耶和華說：我在這地方刑罰你們，必有預兆，使你們知道我降禍與你們的話必要立得住。
