Oh that they had such a heart as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them and with their descendants forever!

Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!I would soon subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes.Those who hate the Lord would cringe toward him, and their fate would last forever.But he would feed you with the finest of the wheat, and with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”

For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.

And the people said to Joshua,“ The Lord our God we will serve, and his voice we will obey.”

Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.
