暗利用二他连得银子向撒玛买了撒玛利亚山，在山上建城，按着山的原主撒玛的名，给所建的城起名叫撒玛利亚。

他焚烧了耶和华的殿、王宫和耶路撒冷一切的房屋；用火焚烧所有大户人家的房屋。

以色列全会众都聚集在示罗，把会幕设立在那里。那地已经被他们征服了。

“你们是耶和华—你们上帝的儿女。不可为了死人割划自己，也不可使额上光秃；

罗波安往示剑去，因以色列众人都到了示剑，要立他作王。

雅各从巴旦‧亚兰平安地回到迦南地的示剑城，他在城的前面支搭帐棚。

耶户遇见犹大王亚哈谢的兄弟，说：“你们是谁？”他们说：“我们是亚哈谢的兄弟，现在下去要向王和太后的众儿子问安。”耶户说：“活捉他们！”人就活捉了他们，把他们杀在伯‧艾克特的坑边，共四十二人，一个也没有留下。

头的周围不可剃，胡须的周围不可损坏。不可为死人割划自己的身体，也不可在身上刺花纹。我是耶和华。

那地的族长希未人哈抹的儿子示剑看见她，就拉住她，与她同寝，玷辱了她。

你的仆人们喜爱锡安的石头，怜悯它的尘土。

哈嫩就抓住大卫的臣仆，把他们的胡须剃去一半，又割断他们下半截的袍子，露出下体，然后放了他们。

所以我要向这称为我名下、你们所倚靠的殿，与我所赐给你们和你们祖先的地这样行，正如我从前向示罗所行的。

以色列人把从埃及所带来约瑟的骸骨安葬在示剑，就是雅各从前用一百可锡塔向示剑的父亲哈抹的众子所买的那块地；这块地就成了约瑟子孙的产业。

你们到我的地方示罗去，就是我先前在那里立为我名的居所，察看我因这百姓以色列的罪恶向那地方所行的事。
