災患之凶報、絡繹不絕、通國已敗、我幕突毀、我帷傾於俄頃、

Disaster follows disaster; the whole land lies in ruins. In an instant my tents are destroyed, my shelter in a moment.

One trouble follows another. The whole land is destroyed. In an instant my tents are gone. My home disappears in a moment.

Crash follows hard on crash; the whole land is laid waste. Suddenly my tents are laid waste, my curtains in a moment.

Waves of destruction roll over the land, until it lies in complete desolation. Suddenly my tents are destroyed; in a moment my shelters are crushed.

He has despised king and priest in His fierce anger.The Lord has rejected His altar, repudiated His sanctuary; He has handed the walls of her palaces over to the enemy. They have raised a shout in the house of the Lord as on the day of an appointed festival.The Lord determined to destroy the wall of Daughter Zion. He stretched out a measuring line and did not restrain Himself from destroying. He made the ramparts and walls grieve; together they waste away.Zion’s gates have fallen to the ground; He has destroyed and shattered the bars on her gates. Her king and her leaders live among the nations, instruction is no more, and even her prophets receive no vision from the Lord.

We have experienced panic and pitfall, devastation and destruction.

Let my persecutors be put to shame, but don’t let me be put to shame. Let them be terrified, but don’t let me be terrified. Bring on them the day of disaster; shatter them with total destruction.

“ Separate yourselves from this community so I may consume them instantly.”

Wail! For the day of the Lord is near. It will come like destruction from the Almighty.

May His glorious name be praised forever; the whole earth is filled with His glory. Amen and amen.

Woe to me because of my brokenness— I am severely wounded! I exclaimed,“ This is my intense suffering, but I must bear it.”My tent is destroyed; all my tent cords are snapped. My sons have departed from me and are no more. I have no one to pitch my tent again or to hang up my curtains.

I see the tents of Cushan in distress; the tent curtains of the land of Midian tremble.

These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from His glorious strength

For the Lord said to Moses:“ Tell the Israelites: You are a stiff-necked people. If I went with you for a single moment, I would destroy you. Now take off your jewelry, and I will decide what to do with you.”

“ But if after these things you will not obey Me, I will proceed to discipline you seven times for your sins.

These two things will happen to you suddenly, in one day: loss of children and widowhood. They will happen to you in their entirety, in spite of your many sorceries and the potency of your spells.

then I will act with hostility toward you; I also will strike you seven times for your sins.

Woe because of that day! For the Day of the Lord is near and will come as devastation from the Almighty.

“ If you act with hostility toward Me and are unwilling to obey Me, I will multiply your plagues seven times for your sins.

Anguish is coming! They will seek peace, but there will be none.Disaster after disaster will come, and there will be rumor after rumor. Then they will seek a vision from a prophet, but instruction will perish from the priests and counsel from the elders.

“ Enlarge the site of your tent, and let your tent curtains be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your ropes, and drive your pegs deep.

Look at Zion, the city of our festival times. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful pasture, a tent that does not wander; its tent pegs will not be pulled up nor will any of its cords be loosened.
