是時必告斯民、與耶路撒冷曰、炎熇之風、來自曠野之荒邱、向我民女而吹、非為簸之、非為潔之、

耶和華曰、我將判擬耶路撒冷居民告之曰、我必使災熇之風、來自曠野童山、較簸揚禾穀之風尤大、以擊斯邦之民。

當是時必告斯民及耶路撒冷人曰、炎熇之風、自曠野童山向我民而吹、非為簸揚、非為潔禾、

看哪，葡萄树虽然栽种了，岂能发旺呢？一经东风击打，岂不全然枯干了吗？它必在生长的苗圃中枯干了。”

他在弟兄中虽然旺盛，却有东风刮来，就是耶和华的风从旷野上来。他的泉源必干涸，他的源头必枯竭，这风必夺走他所积蓄的一切宝物。

你要向他们说这些话：愿我眼泪汪汪，昼夜不息，因为少女—我百姓受了重大的打击，伤口极其严重。

但愿我的头为水，我的眼为泪水的泉源，我好为我百姓中被杀的人昼夜哭泣。

我们都如不洁净的人，所行的义都像污秽的衣服。我们如叶子渐渐枯干，罪孽像风把我们吹走。

看哪！耶和华的暴风在震怒中发出，是旋转的暴风，必转到恶人头上。

看哪，耶和华的愤怒如暴风已经发出；是扫灭的暴风，必转到恶人的头上。耶和华的烈怒必不转消，直到他心中所定的成就了，实现了；末后的日子你们就会明白。

听啊，是我百姓呼救的声音从远地传来：“耶和华不是在锡安吗？锡安的王不是在其中吗？”“他们为什么以自己雕刻的偶像和外邦虚无的神明惹我发怒呢？”

我的眼睛流泪，以致失明；我的心肠烦乱，肝胆落地，都因我的百姓遭毁灭，又因孩童和吃奶的在城内的广场上昏厥。

耶和华如此说：看哪，我必刮起毁灭的风，攻击巴比伦和住在立加米的人。我要差陌生人来到巴比伦，他们要簸扬它，使它的地空无一物。在它遭祸的日子，他们要四围攻击它。

他手里拿着簸箕，要扬净他的谷物，把麦子收在仓里，把糠用不灭的火烧尽。”

野狗尚且哺乳其子，我百姓的妇人反倒残忍，如旷野的鸵鸟一般；

你驱赶他们，放逐他们，与他们相争。在刮东风的日子，他以暴风赶逐他们。

你要簸扬它们，风要将它们吹去；旋风要刮散它们。你却要以耶和华为喜乐，因以色列的圣者夸耀。

所以万军之耶和华如此说：“看哪，我要熬炼他们，考验他们；不然，为了我的百姓，我该如何行呢？

他手里拿着簸箕，要扬净他的谷物，把麦子收在仓里，把糠用不灭的火烧尽。”

但在烈怒中它被拔出，摔在地上；东风吹干其果子，那坚固的枝干因折断而枯干，被火烧毁；

因我百姓遭毁灭，我的眼睛泪流成河。

我百姓的罪孽比所多玛的罪还大；所多玛虽无人伸手攻击，转眼之间就被倾覆。

因此，他们必如早晨的云雾，又如速散的露水，如被狂风吹离禾场的糠秕，又如烟囱冒出的烟。

当我百姓遭毁灭的时候，慈心的妇人亲手烹煮自己的儿女为食物。

因此我说：“不要看我，让我痛哭吧！不要因我百姓的毁灭竭力安慰我。”
