彼在兄弟之中、雖為昌熾、將有東風、即主之風、來自曠野、將有東風即主之風來自曠野或作必有東風至主必使風自曠野而來使其泉竭源涸、敵必劫掠所積蓄之一切寶器、

爾以斯言告民曰、我耶利米目流淚、晝夜不息、緣我民大受折損、其傷甚重、

願我首為水、我目為淚之源、則我為我民中被戮者、晝夜哭泣不止、

我儕皆如不潔之人、所視為善義、悉如污穢之衣、我儕衰枯、猶如落葉、我儕之罪愆逐我、如被風飄、

惟主震怒、狂風驟起、旋風大作、臨於惡人之首、

故萬有之主如是云、我民若此、我何以處之乎、必陶鎔之、試鍊之、

其手執箕、簸其禾場之麥、斂麥入倉、而焚糠以不滅之火、○

乃忿然忿然或作猛然見拔、拋擲於地、東風暴其果、堅強之枝柯被折、遂致枯槁、為火所焚、

因我民民原文作女之敗亡、我目垂淚、猶如河流、我目垂淚猶如河流或作我目垂淚成河
