Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard carried into exile to Babylon the people who remained in the city, along with those who had gone over to him, and the rest of the people.

Nebuzaradan was commander of the royal guard. Some people still remained in the city. But he took them away to Babylon as prisoners. He also took along those who had gone over to his side. And he took the rest of the people.

Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, carried into exile to Babylon the rest of the people who were left in the city, those who had deserted to him, and the people who remained.

因此，我要把你們從這地趕出去，去到你們和你們列祖所不認識的地；你們在那裡必晝夜事奉別的神，因為我不再向你們施恩。’

因為耶和華這樣說：‘看哪！我要使你自己和你所有的朋友都驚惶失措；他們必倒在他們仇敵的刀下，你也必親眼看見。我要把全猶大交在巴比倫王手中；他要把他們擄到巴比倫去，或用刀擊殺他們。我要把這城的一切財物、一切勞碌得來的、一切珍寶和猶大列王的一切寶物，都交在他們仇敵的手中；仇敵要把這一切搶劫掠奪，帶回巴比倫去。巴施戶珥啊！你和所有住在你家裡的人，都要被擄去；你和你所有的朋友，就是你向他們說假預言的，都要到巴比倫去，死在那裡，也葬在那裡。’”

但護衛長尼布撒拉旦把民中一些一無所有的窮人留在猶大地，同時把葡萄園和田地分給他們。巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒提到耶利米，吩咐護衛長尼布撒拉旦說：“你把他帶去，好好照顧他，切不可傷害他；他對你怎樣說，你就給他照辦。”於是護衛長尼布撒拉旦、大臣（“大臣”的本意不明確）尼布沙斯班、術士長（“術士長”的本意不明確）尼甲．沙利薛，以及巴比倫王所有的大臣都派人去，把耶利米從衛兵的院子裡提出來，交給沙番的孫子、亞希甘的兒子基大利，叫他帶耶利米回家去。這樣，耶利米就住在人民中間。

我要把你們分散在萬國中，我又拔出刀來追趕你們；你們的地成為荒涼，你們的城市變成荒場。

以下是尼布甲尼撒擄去的人民的數目：在他執政第七年，有猶大人三千零二十三名；尼布甲尼撒第十八年，從耶路撒冷擄去的，有八百三十二人；尼布甲尼撒第二十三年，護衛長尼布撒拉旦擄去猶大人七百四十五名。總數是四千六百人。

並且你的眾子中，就是由你所出，你所生的，有一部分要被擄去。他們要在巴比倫王的王宮中當太監。”

耶和華必使你們分散在萬民中；在耶和華要領你們所到的萬國中，你們剩下的人數必不多。
