“ Take him and look after him; don’t harm him but do for him whatever he asks.”

But now, Jeremiah, today I will set you free from the chains on your wrists. If you would like to come to Babylon with me, come along and I will take care of you. But if you prefer not to come to Babylon with me, you are not required to do so. You are free to go anywhere in the land you want to go. Go wherever you choose.”

He let no one oppress them; he disciplined kings for their sake,saying,“ Don’t touch my chosen ones! Don’t harm my prophets!”

The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD like channels of water; he turns it wherever he wants.

When you gaze upon riches, they are gone, for they surely make wings for themselves, and fly off into the sky like an eagle!

and rescued him from all his troubles, and granted him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt, who made him ruler over Egypt and over all his household.

I will look after their welfare and will restore them to this land. There I will build them up and will not tear them down. I will plant them firmly in the land and will not uproot them.

For the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and his ears are open to their prayer. But the Lord’s face is against those who do evil.For who is going to harm you if you are devoted to what is good?

Even when their enemies drive them into captivity, from there I will command the sword to kill them. I will not let them out of my sight; they will experience disaster, not prosperity.”
