在密士巴遺民、及公主、侍衛長尼布撒喇擔、所託亞希甘子其大利者、尼大尼子、以實馬利虜之、欲投亞捫。

巴比倫王在立拉、殺西底家之世子、使之目睹、猶大之家亦遭誅殛。

不然迦勒底人必焚此城、爾亦不能脫於其手。

乃殺西底家諸子、使其目睹之、然後瞽其目、繫以銅索、解至巴比倫。

凡免殺戮者、虜至巴比倫、使為奴婢、世供服役、迨巴西國興。於是以色列土地荒寂、若享安息、歷七十年、應耶利米所傳耶和華言、

耶利米以斯言奏猶大王西底家云、汝當歸誠巴比倫之君民、負軛服事、則可得生。耶和華曾言、凡諸邦國、不肯服事巴比倫王、必以鋒刃、饑饉、瘟疫、使之淪喪今汝與民、何為自取死亡。

昔我於異象中、至耶路撒冷言此邑必敗、及在基八河濱、亦有所見、與今所目睹者、無以異也、我見之、俯伏於地、

如先知迷眩其心、傳言於眾、我耶和華聽其然、後必降罰、絕之於我民以色列族中。
