西底家王对耶利米说：“我害怕那些已向迦勒底人投降的犹大人，恐怕迦勒底人把我交在他们手中，他们就会凌辱我。”

西底家王对耶利米说：“我怕那些投降迦勒底人的犹大人，恐怕迦勒底人将我交在他们手中，他们戏弄我。”

西底家王对耶利米说：“我怕那些投降迦勒底人的犹大人，恐怕迦勒底人把我交在他们手中，他们就戏弄我。”

西底家王对耶利米说：“我怕那些投降迦勒底人的犹大人，恐怕迦勒底人把我交在他们手中，他们就戏弄我。”

西底迦王说：“我害怕那些已经向迦勒底人投降的犹大人，恐怕迦勒底人会把我交给他们，任由他们羞辱。”

西底家王對耶利米說：「我怕那些投降迦勒底人的猶大人，恐怕迦勒底人將我交在他們手中，他們戲弄我。」

西底家王對耶利米說：「我怕那些投降迦勒底人的猶大人，恐怕迦勒底人把我交在他們手中，他們就戲弄我。」

西底迦王說：「我害怕那些已經向迦勒底人投降的猶大人，恐怕迦勒底人會把我交給他們，任由他們羞辱。」

西底家王對耶利米說：“我害怕那些已向迦勒底人投降的猶大人，恐怕迦勒底人把我交在他們手中，他們就會凌辱我。”

西底家王對耶利米說：『我，我怕那些投降迦勒底人的猶大人，恐怕迦勒底人會將我交在他們手中，他們會作弄我。』

西底家王謂耶利米曰、我恐迦勒底人、付我於投降之猶大人手、彼則侮我、

西底家王告耶利米曰、猶大人已先歸誠於迦勒底人、我甚恐、若彼委我於猶大人、使凌辱予、則奈何。

西底家王謂耶利米曰、有猶大人已降迦勒底人、我恐迦勒底人付我於彼之手、使彼凌辱我、

King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah,“ I am afraid of the Jews who have gone over to the Babylonians, for the Babylonians may hand me over to them and they will mistreat me.”

King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah,“ I’m afraid of some of the Jews. They are the ones who have gone over to the side of the Babylonians. The Babylonians might hand me over to them. And those Jews will treat me badly.”

King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah,“ I am afraid of the Judeans who have deserted to the Chaldeans, lest I be handed over to them and they deal cruelly with me.”

“ But I am afraid to surrender,” the king said,“ for the Babylonians may hand me over to the Judeans who have defected to them. And who knows what they will do to me!”

But King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah,“ I am worried about the Judeans who have defected to the Chaldeans. They may hand me over to the Judeans to abuse me.”

Then King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah,“ I am in fear of the Jews who have deserted to the Chaldeans, for they may hand me over to them, and they will abuse me.”

And Zedekiah the king said to Jeremiah,“ I am afraid of the Jews who have defected to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they abuse me.”

And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews that are fallen away to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.

But King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah,“ I am worried about the Judeans who have deserted to the Chaldeans. They may hand me over to the Judeans to abuse me.”

And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.

Then King Zedekiah said to Jeremiah,“ I am afraid of the Judeans who have deserted to the Babylonians. The Babylonians might hand me over to them and they will torture me.”

Zedekiah the king said to Jeremiah,“ I am afraid of the Jews who have defected to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.”

虽然这样，官长当中也有许多人信了耶稣。但是因为法利赛人的缘故，他们不敢公开承认，免得被赶出会堂；

从那时起，彼拉多想释放耶稣；可是犹太人却喊叫说：“如果你释放这个人，就不是凯撒的忠臣了。凡是自命为王的，就是与凯撒为敌。”彼拉多听了这些话，就把耶稣带到外面，到了一个名叫“铺石地”（希伯来话叫加巴大）的地方，就在那里开庭审问。

看哪！犹大王宫里所有剩下的妇女，都必被带出来，去到巴比伦王的将领那里。那些妇女必对你说：‘你的盟友煽惑了你，左右了你；现在你的脚陷在泥沼中，他们就都离弃你。’

“我，我耶和华是安慰你们的；你是谁，竟怕那会死的人，怕那被造如草的世人呢？你忘记了造你的耶和华，就是那展开诸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺压者准备行毁灭的时候所发的烈怒，你就终日不住惧怕呢？其实那欺压者的烈怒在哪里呢？

你怕谁？你因谁而惧怕，以致你对我说谎呢？你不记念我，也不把我放在心上，是不是因为我长久缄默，你就不惧怕我呢？

惧怕人的，必陷入网罗；倚靠耶和华的，必得安全。

那与他的创造主争论的，有祸了！他不过是地上瓦片中的一片瓦片，泥土能对陶匠说：‘你在作什么？’或你所作成的说：‘他没有手’吗？那对父亲说：‘你生的是什么’，或对母亲说：‘你产的是什么’的，有祸了！”

扫罗就对替他拿兵器的人说：“拔出你的刀来，把我刺透，免得这些未受割礼的人来把我刺透，戏弄我。”但替他拿兵器的人不肯这样作，因为他非常害怕。于是扫罗拿过刀来，自己伏在刀上死了。

他急忙呼喊替他拿兵器的少年人，对他说：“拔出你的刀来，把我杀死吧。免得人讲论我说：‘他被一个妇人所杀。’”于是那少年人把他刺透，他就死了。

因为我惧怕群众，宗族的藐视又使我惊恐，以致我静默不言，足不出门。

于是扫罗对撒母耳说：“我犯了罪了，我违背了耶和华的命令和你的话，因为我害怕众人，听从了他们的话。

城里剩下的人民，和那些已经向巴比伦王投降的人，以及其余的人民，都被护卫长尼布撒拉旦掳到巴比伦去。

他们心里正在高兴的时候，就说：“叫参孙来，给我们耍耍把戏。”于是有人把参孙从监牢里叫出来；参孙就在他们面前耍把戏，他们又把他放在两根柱子中间。

西底家王说：“看哪！他在你们手中；王不能作什么反对你们。”
