I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the room of the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah the man of God. It was next to the room of the officials, which was over that of Maaseiah son of Shallum the doorkeeper.

I brought them into the Lord’ s house. I took them into the room of the sons of Hanan. He was the son of Igdaliah. He was also a man of God. His room was next to the room of the officials. Their room was above the room of Maaseiah. He was the son of Shallum. He also was one of those who guarded the temple doors.

I brought them to the house of the Lord into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was near the chamber of the officials, above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, keeper of the threshold.

I took them to the Temple, and we went into the room assigned to the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah, a man of God. This room was located next to the one used by the Temple officials, directly above the room of Maaseiah son of Shallum, the Temple gatekeeper.

and I brought them into the temple of the LORD to a chamber occupied by the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah, a man of God, who had a chamber near the officials’ chamber, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah son of Shallum the doorkeeper.

and I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was next to the chamber of the officials, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the doorkeeper.

and I brought them into the house of the Lord, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door.

and I brought them into the house of Jehovah, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the threshold.

and I brought them into the temple of the Lord to a chamber occupied by the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah, a man of God, who had a chamber near the officials’ chamber, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah son of Shallum the doorkeeper.

And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which[ was] by the chamber of the princes, which[ was] above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:

I took them to the LORD’s temple. I took them into the room where the disciples of the prophet Hanan son of Igdaliah stayed. That room was next to the one where the temple officers stayed and above the room where Maaseiah son of Shallum, one of the doorkeepers of the temple, stayed.

and I brought them into Yahweh’s house, into the room of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was by the room of the princes, which was above the room of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the threshold.

This is the blessing that Moses the man of God pronounced on the Israelites before his death. (niv)

Jehoiada the priest took a chest and bored a hole in its lid. He placed it beside the altar, on the right side as one enters the temple of the Lord. The priests who guarded the entrance put into the chest all the money that was brought to the temple of the Lord. (niv)

In keeping with the ordinance of his father David, he appointed the divisions of the priests for their duties, and the Levites to lead the praise and to assist the priests according to each day’s requirement. He also appointed the gatekeepers by divisions for the various gates, because this was what David the man of God had ordered. (niv)

The commander of the guard took as prisoners Seraiah the chief priest, Zephaniah the priest next in rank and the three doorkeepers. (niv)

Then he sent to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men. The captain went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him,“ Man of God, the king says,‘ Come down!’” (niv)

Now the people of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him,“ You know what the Lord said to Moses the man of God at Kadesh Barnea about you and me. (niv)

being stationed at the King’s Gate on the east, up to the present time. These were the gatekeepers belonging to the camp of the Levites.Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his fellow gatekeepers from his family( the Korahites) were responsible for guarding the thresholds of the tent just as their ancestors had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the dwelling of the Lord. (niv)

At this the king sent to Elijah another captain with his fifty men. The captain said to him,“ Man of God, this is what the king says,‘ Come down at once!’”“ If I am a man of God,” Elijah replied,“ may fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men!” Then the fire of God fell from heaven and consumed him and his fifty men.So the king sent a third captain with his fifty men. This third captain went up and fell on his knees before Elijah.“ Man of God,” he begged,“ please have respect for my life and the lives of these fifty men, your servants! (niv)

But this word of God came to Shemaiah the man of God: (niv)

The woman proceeded to do as the man of God said. She and her family went away and stayed in the land of the Philistines seven years.At the end of the seven years she came back from the land of the Philistines and went to appeal to the king for her house and land.The king was talking to Gehazi, the servant of the man of God, and had said,“ Tell me about all the great things Elisha has done.”Just as Gehazi was telling the king how Elisha had restored the dead to life, the woman whose son Elisha had brought back to life came to appeal to the king for her house and land. Gehazi said,“ This is the woman, my lord the king, and this is her son whom Elisha restored to life.”The king asked the woman about it, and she told him. Then he assigned an official to her case and said to him,“ Give back everything that belonged to her, including all the income from her land from the day she left the country until now.”Elisha went to Damascus, and Ben-Hadad king of Aram was ill. When the king was told,“ The man of God has come all the way up here,”he said to Hazael,“ Take a gift with you and go to meet the man of God. Consult the Lord through him; ask him,‘ Will I recover from this illness?’” (niv)

The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God,“ Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?”“ You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha,“ but you will not eat any of it!” (niv)

From the room of Gemariah son of Shaphan the secretary, which was in the upper courtyard at the entrance of the New Gate of the temple, Baruch read to all the people at the Lord’s temple the words of Jeremiah from the scroll.When Micaiah son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, heard all the words of the Lord from the scroll,he went down to the secretary’s room in the royal palace, where all the officials were sitting: Elishama the secretary, Delaiah son of Shemaiah, Elnathan son of Akbor, Gemariah son of Shaphan, Zedekiah son of Hananiah, and all the other officials. (niv)

So the king of Israel checked on the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he was on his guard in such places. (niv)

Now a man of God came to Eli and said to him,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Did I not clearly reveal myself to your ancestor’s family when they were in Egypt under Pharaoh? (niv)

When the prophet who had brought him back from his journey heard of it, he said,“ It is the man of God who defied the word of the Lord. The Lord has given him over to the lion, which has mauled him and killed him, as the word of the Lord had warned him.” (niv)

When the officials of Judah heard about these things, they went up from the royal palace to the house of the Lord and took their places at the entrance of the New Gate of the Lord’s house. (niv)

By the word of the Lord a man of God came from Judah to Bethel, as Jeroboam was standing by the altar to make an offering. (niv)

But the servant replied,“ Look, in this town there is a man of God; he is highly respected, and everything he says comes true. Let’s go there now. Perhaps he will tell us what way to take.”Saul said to his servant,“ If we go, what can we give the man? The food in our sacks is gone. We have no gift to take to the man of God. What do we have?”The servant answered him again.“ Look,” he said,“ I have a quarter of a shekel of silver. I will give it to the man of God so that he will tell us what way to take.” (niv)

She said to Elijah,“ What do you have against me, man of God? Did you come to remind me of my sin and kill my son?” (niv)

So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy. (niv)

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. (niv)

The commander of the guard took as prisoners Seraiah the chief priest, Zephaniah the priest next in rank and the three doorkeepers. (niv)

They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they had to guard it; and they had charge of the key for opening it each morning. (niv)

so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. (niv)

When they placed their threshold next to my threshold and their doorposts beside my doorposts, with only a wall between me and them, they defiled my holy name by their detestable practices. So I destroyed them in my anger. (niv)

Then Josiah looked around, and when he saw the tombs that were there on the hillside, he had the bones removed from them and burned on the altar to defile it, in accordance with the word of the Lord proclaimed by the man of God who foretold these things.The king asked,“ What is that tombstone I see?” The people of the city said,“ It marks the tomb of the man of God who came from Judah and pronounced against the altar of Bethel the very things you have done to it.” (niv)

Then the woman said to Elijah,“ Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the Lord from your mouth is the truth.” (niv)

The man of God came up and told the king of Israel,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Because the Arameans think the Lord is a god of the hills and not a god of the valleys, I will deliver this vast army into your hands, and you will know that I am the Lord.’” (niv)

Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said to himself,“ My master was too easy on Naaman, this Aramean, by not accepting from him what he brought. As surely as the Lord lives, I will run after him and get something from him.” (niv)

Now the king had put the officer on whose arm he leaned in charge of the gate, and the people trampled him in the gateway, and he died, just as the man of God had foretold when the king came down to his house. (niv)

But a man of God came to him and said,“ Your Majesty, these troops from Israel must not march with you, for the Lord is not with Israel— not with any of the people of Ephraim.Even if you go and fight courageously in battle, God will overthrow you before the enemy, for God has the power to help or to overthrow.”Amaziah asked the man of God,“ But what about the hundred talents I paid for these Israelite troops?” The man of God replied,“ The Lord can give you much more than that.” (niv)

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. (niv)
